My SENIOR prom is coming up and I still do not have a date. Most of the people I know have already made plans so if I don't get asked soon I may be left out of the festivities. Senior do not have to go to prom right? I just hope I make the right decision and don't regret this. Everything happens for a reason right? A few suggestions please!

I think you should tell him that he is not going for those people. He is going for you. That you want him to be there and it doesnt matter what other people think. Do you like him more than a friend? If so this is the perfect time to tell him how you feel and that you want to spend one of the most important night in your life with him. If you just like him as a friend you could use that reason also but in a different way. I hope things turn out the way you want it.

Well you could ask a friend from another school to go with you or you could find other girls without dates and you go together as a group. That way you won't feel left out. I think you should relax and see what happens for another week or so. If still no date, then decide which route you want to go. I would go to my Prom. I missed my Senior Prom and I regret it. It is an event that doesn't come around again, so make the most of it!

I wouldn't be worying you are not forced to go to prom or anything. I could not find a date for my senior prom and I asked every girl I knew their name, so I just went by myself, granted a few people made fun of me but I just brushed them off. Things always happen for a reason even if we don't know why or if we don't find out right away they help shape us for the future. I think you should go even if you don't have a date because it is a nice experience.

hmmmmmmm.... hey are you a girl? let's see, you can ask your brother or cousin perhaps. you can't just go ask some stranger for a prom date. it will be risky nowadays. if you can't still find a date for the prom, then just be dashing as much as more as you can on the prom night and guys would leave their dates and might want to ask you for a dance. lol. just be pretty girl! or if you're a guy, then just do the same thing. be dashing and flash that smile. and girls would try to take their best shot to have you to dance with them. just let people think how unfortunate of them to let you pass through the corridor without even asking you to be their prom date. ;)

I went to both proms and I was new to the school the second half of my junior year. They were boyfriend dates. The first one was this guy that asked me and he liked me but I really only liked him as a friend. The second time I went with the exchange student from Francis (he was cute but he had no interest in me as a girlfriend.) I was glad I went both times. I think if you dont get asked dont be afraid to ask someone (I know that is easier said then done.) Or go with your friends. Most of the time the friends rent a limo as a group. There are going to be other people there alone and I think you will regret it if you dont go. It is your last year. Do you know someone outside your school that you could invite? A family friends child? A relatives friend? These are options other than asking someone at your school. I know this is something that you need to decide. But I DONT want you to regret not going.

I had the same experience in my prom. All my friends already had dates and it was 3 weeks before the prom. I was also afraid that I'd get left out so I kind of asked one of my guy classmates to go with me. You know what, I regret it for two reason. One is because we kind of got embarassed with each other after the prom and we parted ways (after graduation) with a not-so-good relationship. The second reason is I felt that if I waited a little, my crush would have asked me to go with him!

relax , and clam down , i didnt go to prom simply because i wanted everything to be perfect , but i didnt sweat it so , overall it was all about Hype anyway , now that our class has graduated , half of the class girls are now single mothers , not to say all proms end up this way ...i wouldnt worry about a date , heck , ill be more proud to pick up a date and have a great time , at the prom,im sure you will have no problem picking one up ...

i think if you want to go, go alone and hang out with friends...prom is about being with friends and hanging out together and bonding, especially your last year...the senior prom...reminiscing about the earlier years how you each met, and looking forward to your future, college, jobs, etc. i think go and have fun, whether someone asks you or not...prom is about friends and hanging out with friends, and not really about dates and being asked out...

relax it will happen at the right time. but again be wise . Asked even though you said every one already have a date there's not any thing like every one. Most people you know already have a date. There are those who don't . Keep trying
