What foods turn you off and you can't stand seeing, eating or even smelling? The foods that turn me off are green olives and mushrooms. I don't like green olives because I ate too many when I was little and got really sick from them. Ever since I can't stand the smell of them and I don't like the taste of them eathier. I don't like mushrooms cause they have a weird texture when I chew them and I don't care for the taste. I also am turned off cause I don't like how they look and they are a fungus. I don't like knowing I'm eating fungus. What foods turn you off and you don't like eating? Explain why.

For me, I think eating balut is pretty gross, though I haven't tried it. I know a lot of people who have and the way they describe it when they eat it is pretty gross. Other than that, anything that's eaten alive, except yogurt, is pretty gross, especially if it's still wiggling around. Those big, gooey bugs that I've seen them eat on Survivor, which are a local delicacy, grosses me out, too.

Yeah duck embryos are gross to eat. I would never want to eat baby ducks in eggs or baby chicks in eggs. It's weird enough just eating an egg. Yeah I'm also not into eating bugs. My husband has a friend named Spencer who doesn't mind eating bugs. He enjoys grasshopper lollipops.

Cooked spinach, and liver. I can't get past the smell. I have never eaten either one and never will. I don't mind raw spinach if it's in a salad or dip. I'm not crazy about mushrooms but can eat them if they are in small bits in other food, like on pizza. I love orange juice but years ago I had a party and my friend brought her kids along that had the flu (don't ask me why, but she did). We were drinking screwdrivers and the next morning I was puking, which was unusual because as much as I drank back then, I had never thrown up. I couldn't drink orange juice for the longest time, but I've gotten over it since then.

Yeah my husband also does not like liver. I like liver a little bit but I rarely eat it. I like spinach sometimes but I think raw spinach tastes much better. I'm the same way about mushrooms. Sometimes I eat a few in pizza but I usually take most of them off my pizza and give them to my daughter who just loves them.
