Is there life on other planets?

Hi Rose I was raised with the belief that we were put here by God and that there are no other's in all the universe. Perhaps that is why I have lost my beliefs and faith in religion, because that is the most narrow minded self centered statement that I can not accept. There are millions if not billions of planets, as well a solar systems, and for us to believe that we are the only life, is the equivalent of saying blood is red, where as red is a color, not blood and we are a species of animal, and we have no idea what other species that exist. I believe at some time man thought himself alone and there for ruler of the universe, have you noted in most science fiction, Humans alway are the guys that win. When I was nine I wrote my first ever story and in it humans were wiped out, it was not very popular, because as reckless as we are we believe we are invincible.

I think there could very well be life on other planets. I really do not think that we are the only living creatures on these planets. I have often thought about what other life there is elsewhere and I think it is very possible. They may look alien to us and vice versa.

Absolutely there could be life on other planets. Why, in this vast universe, should our little rock be the only one that managed to sustain life?

I know that my nine year old son is convinced there is life on other planets. I think that the universe is so vast it is hard to believe that there couldn't be life of some form on other planets. I wonder if we will find out in my lifetime. It would be exciting. Have a great day!

I think so ...I mean earth is great and all....but how big is the universe? do you know ..because i dont...well its insane and closed minded to think that we are so great at the same time and think were the only one with life...who knows ...maybe life on other planets know we exist or maybe they dont and they are wondering just as we are...:)
