Have you ever been bored with typing in Yahoo/MSN Chat to discuss issues

I don't think I would like to HAVE to use messenger to communicate with my coworkers unless it was a matter of being in a different location (like if I was in China and they were in America or some similar situation). Are all the people in the same building??? Sometimes it is good to see it in writing, but overall it would be better to have a face-to-face meeting when possible.

I use yahoo almost every day. and for almost three hours b and i use it for both office and home stuff so it is a lot easy because every one working with me know I have their messenger and will send them text. all my team members do check in for text as it saves money on phone bills. we most often send out emails and text message than calling because it is truly a way of saving money and some times other stuff like mns does not have good broadcast for camera even my HD cameras work with yahoo . when i have to lecture at school i do it online some times I teach through yahoo messenger and the kids are there and i can see them just as they can see me. it really helps. I like yahoo. though they need to improve it it is great

Yes, I believe new tool gives us two sides. One side is the benifit, we can do discuss anytime anywhere, no distance. Another side is that we lose many opportunities to discuss by face to face.
