a new study shows that men and women eat differently,
men tend to eat more red meats and poulty and women more fruits and vegetables,
I guess I must be a man and not know it because I love my meat, I eat fruits and vegetables too, but I am heavy on the meat,
do you agree with this study?
are you more of am meat eater or a vegetable and fruit eater?

Well, I just love my fruits and veggies, especially in the summer when I can go to a farmer's market and get fresh local produce or get some veggies from my Italian friend's cousin's garden who grows so many she gives away a lot. Many times I have gone vegetarian for a period of time but then all of a sudden I get this voracious craving for meat, red meat that is. Then I succumb to the temptation and eat meat again. I guess men and women are omnivorous.

I just don't feel full without some meat, I tried doing vegetables only but unless it is a soup I just can't do it.

I do agree with the study that it could be the case but that is a thing of the past. My observation is that more men are eating more vegetables and fruits and cutting down on meats though most still prefer meat. One of the reasons these people must have meat is that meat gives them the energy to tide through the day.

you see studies are done with thousands of people and are not based on simply observation of a single person, that is why they get the title "scientific"
I too know men that are eating more and more vegetables, but how many men do I know as compared to a study that studies eating habits all across the country etc.
you see what I mean?

I think that's why men are more violent like a lion and women are calm, serene like a cow.
In my case, I have a balanced diet - nothing more nothing less. I'm cutting on meat lately and substituting junk food for it, which has indeed made it worse.

I'm more of a meat eater. I like fruits and veggies, but if asked whether I'd rather have one or the other, I'd choose meats first.

Hi winterose. I would say, I am more of a meat eater. Though I love vegetables, I will not be satisfied if my meal during dinner doesnt have meat. Since dinner is the only time I have the chance to eat a full meal, I always make sure that the main entree consists of meat. Im not particular of what kind of meat.
