I'm not talking World Of Warcraft (LOL), unless it was "WOW!" for you. No matter what system it may have been on, when did you stop and say, "that is really awesome, I can't believe they can do that in a game!". For me, I think it was Tomb Raider, although, at earlier times I might have said Mortal Kombat or an NES Baseball game or something.
Maybe the best WOW! is yet to come!

I guess that would have to be PacMan. We never had any kind of gaming system in our home when I was growing up. We used to go over to my dad's friend's house and I would get to play with their kids. They had an Atari back then and we used to play PacMan and Space Invaders. I was just WOWed because we never had those kind of gaming systems or games to play like that.

I was so excited when I got my first system, a generic version of the Atari 2600. I forget who manufactured it, but it played all the Atari catridges and was out less than a year after Atari's console. Funny how things have changed. A generic X-box would be sued into oblivion!
Too bad that nowadays, bringing up memories of the early 80's gaming is like talking about cave painting to Michaelangelo!
Thanks for the memories!

The game that wowed me first would have to be super mario brothers on the NES. This is when I first played a nintendo back in the 80s.

I remember the jump to the N64 too. That was an exciting time!
Thanks!

Tomb Raider for sure had one of those WOW types of moments. The first time the T-rex comes running out was priceless.

Maybe my first console game Super Mario Bros. Other than that, there was Sonic CD which featured neat graphics, vocal music, time travel, time attack and several other bonuses to it.
