For a couple weeks now, I have had no energy and so tired all the time. I am cranky and irratable all the time. My family was here over the weekend and I was too sick to spend much time with them at all. I hate feeling like this. I hope that my surgery will help me to get to feeling better. I think the stress of surgery that is getting me so out of kilter. Do you get like this before surgery as well?

I am very sorry to hear that. I was also sick for a couple of weeks this month. I think something must be going around. What kind of surgery will you be having, if you do not mind my asking? I have never felt like that before surgery. I do feel sorry that you are having to go through this though. I hope you feel better soon. Get well soon and take care!

I haven't had surgery in 25 years but now, I don't think I was like that, but yes the stress of it could very well be bothering you that is for sure.

Any kind of surgery is terrifing. I have only had surgery once, (other then tonsils) I found out on Friday that I had to have it on Monday, I was scared the whole weekend. I am so glad that I didn't know before that or I would have been a basket case. Let us know before you have surgery so your mylot friends can include you in our prayers.

Hello dear villageanne. I am so sorry that have not been feeling well these days, but I do hope that you will get well soon with the help of the doctors. Please have a good rest home without having to thinking about the stress of surgery. You know, mentality works a lot. So long as you are balanced in the state of mind, you are sure to get over it. Take care and stay healthy.

I haven't had surgery in a while so I couldn't say. If you're feeling stressed out, its understandable. Maybe focus on something else, a hobby, life, the present... some sort of minor distraction or some way to help your mind and body relax through this.

Stress can really do a number on you specailly if you are going to have surgery. I have been that way before surgery I guess mainly because I hate the idea of being put to sleep but once I got to the hospital and met the different people who would be caring for me I felt much more peaceful.
