I sometimes just wish i can be left alone just to have enough time tro think and re evaluate situations, but i discivered tha anytime i try to do that,is when i get more calls and more visitors,so what i do is switch off my fone and sometimes just go away for a few days especially weekends,do you have such time when you are just on your own without any disturbances how do get to do that?

I do try to get some, and it is not easy to get it! I started a similar discussion for parents, do we deserve time off? It is best for the children!

I agree! It is necessary to our sanity as well as the sanity of our kids! I have used babysitting services at the YMCA and other gyms, and anytime I can get time off I will!

having time for yourself can be as tough as a camel passing through the eye of the needle but its necessary in order for us to function well or we will always function below capacity

That is how I feel also. About the time I think I will take a break and get some "me time", all heck breaks loose. I never have to just sit and think. I am always working or doing something or too tired to think straight. I turn my phone off also but when I do that, the knocks on the door seem to come. I am alone at night time a couple days a week though but I am working then and still do not have time for myself.

Yeah. I know where you are coming from but there is no time to slow down right now. I have to do all that I can do, while I still have my health and energy to do so, is the way I actually see it. Life is so fast paced these days. We have to stay up with the times or we will fall behind and never get caught back up. I hate to feel that way, but it is the way it is in my life.

well i still want you to slow down ,dont wait till when your body force you to do so,health is wealth ,it is he who finds time for the body to revitalise that enjoys the fruit of the labour

I do get time to myself from time to time. Generally while my mom is at work and my dad is sleeping. Sine I graduated college I live at home until i get married to pay off bills, so It's not too difficult to get time to myself.

yes i can understand how it feels but i think you can try to go out there and find some things that can occupy your free time and then make some money from them just like you are doing on mylot

I don't get much alone time. I do understand what you mean about needing time to just think without getting disturbed. I don't get nearly enough and no one here seems to understand that. I feel like I am on overload all the time.

I usually get Monday-Friday from 8-3 to myself. Husbands at work and kids in school. I screen my calls and only talk to thoughs I want to. I have to leave it on because of my children and husband. Never know when they will need me.

yes if in an enviroment where you are all alone its fine but i dont mean getting lonely ,you just want to be on your own so you can work out things without interference
