I just made a BLT for lunch, and it was so good. I haven't had one in years, and I forgot how much I like them. I used to have them all the time when I was a kid- with homegrown tomatoes and lettuce. I can't wait till later this summer when I have my own fresh veggies to use.

My sister doesn't like tomatoes either, so she always had hers without- we called it an LT. Still good.

I have not had one of those for absolutely ages! Its funny how you forget about things until someone says that they had one and then you just want one yourself. I could just eat one of those right now. Glad you enjoyed it, but next time make an extra one for me please!! Or I might just wait until you have grown your own veggies.

I'll be happy to share! Last year I had more tomatoes than I could eat. I made sauce once and still had more left over.

Same here. I love Blt sandwiches with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I can hardly wait to put out my garden also but it is still too early here in Indiana to do so. I want to plant some green onions, tomatoes and some lettuce this year. You have me craving some bacon now.

I love BLT's! And in the summer time they are the best. This is how we use up leftover bacon!!!
Now you are making me hungry for one! I guess fried chicken will have to do.

I love BLTs. But we don't have them that often because my husband has high cholestrol. They are best with homegrown tomatoes and lettuce. You're making me want one....LOL

I used to eat them all the time when I was a kid. But now they are a rare treat. Less often keeps them good.

I don't like tomato, but I absolutely love a good bacon and lettuce sandwich, on toast with mayo. I think that's my favorite sandwich in the world!
I haven't had one in forever either and since I don't buy bacon very often, I usually only eat them when available at a restaurant for lunch.
Now I really want one - thanks!
