As a driver myself, i'm fed up with the increase of oil prices by the different petrol companies. When one company increases its petrol price, the others would follow suit in a few hours time. I personally feel that it is unfair and i'm feeling the pinch as my salary does not increases too and more money is being dug out from my pocket. So i would like to hear what are everyone opinions.

I think that it's about time the oil companies bit the bullet and accepted a lower profit margin as we are all suffering out here. The petrol stations have an interesting problem though. Their biggest profit lies in the shop sales on site and as people are feeling the pinch those sales are dropping. Can we do anything about prices?. I think we can if we all work together. Whichever company raises the price first we boycott. Whichever company drops the price first we all use. Would this work? The problem I see is people's apathy. How often have you seen two petrol stations close together with different prices and the forecourt of the higher priced one still has heaps of cars filling up? C'mon guys lets hit back.

The oil companies are already making huge profits, I don't see why we should have to continue to contribute. I don't think we should have to pay more...it's hard enough as it is to try and afford mortgages with rising interest rates and bills let alone the rising cost of petrol. It's becoming insane.
