How often do you check the "no response" discussions?

especially looking to pop in a good chance at "Best Response"!
Do you feel sorry for questions with no responses?
I've actually found alot of decent dicussions there, but I was thinking the search menu item probably exists for the first two reasons, not to provide an outlet for finding great discussions.
I wonder how long this question will be there?

I always check it, every day. You are right there are some good discussions to answer on there somedays and then again there are quite a lot that are not very good, but I always have a look!

I try to check them often. They can provide some good opportunities to respond if I'm looking for discussions. Also, I try to think that when I post a discussion, I want people to respond, so I want others to get responses for their discussion.

There are a lot of times I go there to check these out, and respond to some of the discussions there if I see something of interest, and Yes, from time to time, you will find some Good ones to respond too. I know that sometimes as fast as people are putting in New discussions in here, sometimes it is easier to get overlooked. That is why I have a few discussions myself with maybe only 2-3 responses and many others with a lot of responses. This place has such a variety so you can always find something usually to respond too depending on your mood.

I look at discussions with no response quite often, for several reasons. I do feel sorry for people who don't get a response, especially if they are new here. I like to give people encouragement by responding and sometimes I can find a really interesting topic which maybe does not appeal to a lot of people. Some of the topics are just new and will get more responses, but it's always nice to be the first.

I usually check it when I can't find discussions that I really have something to say. From my view, it's no wonder why a lot of them have no responses. Most of them are very specialized and I can't answer them because I don't have anything to say.

On the other hand, I can't believe some of them don't have any responses!

I check it from time to time, especially when I can't find any discussion that suits my taste or that interests me. I don't really feel sorry about it, since I myself still have some of those unresolved discussions because nobody answered them and that's alright for me. Perhaps it was my fault back then, I was not that familiar yet with the system and was too hesitant to elaborate the topics I posted when I was still starting here..

I check it regularly as I know how it feels to start a discussion and then no-one responds
It also encourages new members as they are the ones, who get their discussions ignored more than the older members.
A lot of that is due to the friends system here, as we all respond to friends before looking for other discussions but that's just the way it is.

I know the empty feeling too! It does seem to get a lot better the more you are on here.

I used to check these quite allot, but I've got out of the habit recently. I'd never thought of it as being a better place to pick up a best response though! Unfortunately, a lot of really interesting discussion topics get left behind because they're not mainstream and it's a good place to find them. I admit that I hate starting a discussion and then having no responses, so perhaps I'll pop over & check out that section now!

I always check it every day, and partly because when I check the discussions from my interests I sometimes have a response to add but someone else has already put something really similar so I don't add the post in case people think I am copying them. I probably shouldn't be concerned about such things.
