Do you ever feel like there is a ghost in your pc? Someone typing stuff you didn't type?
I will be typing along and go back to re-read what I typed looking for typos and there will be whole lines that I didn't put in ther LOL Words that I know I can spell are misspelled and puncuation is in the wrong spot. Often there are words in the sentence that don't even belong there. Is it me getting in too much of a hurry, is my brain sending the wrong impulses to the wrong fingers or is there a little boogety boo playing with the keyboard just trying to trip me up?
I like to think that my brain is as good as ever and that even when I'm hurrying along that I still focus on my typing skills so maybe it's just easiest to blame a casper type boo for my mis-typing.
What about you? Do you have your own little casper hindering you along?

My big problem lately is that I'm typing without looking. I'm often turned to the left towards my desk and fail to place my fingers on the a S D F J K L ; . I'll end up with whole paragraghs one letter off from the key it was supposed to be by the time I look back.
The rest of the time... It's the internet gremlins.

I also have a mystery writer. I've never thought about it much except "how'd that get there?" kinda thing.
Unless it my fingers not listing to my head (which is possible with MS LOL), I also have a ghost.
I have to read and re-read everything that I write because this is happening a lot more lately.

Ah yes the old competition with the brain and the fingers. My thoughts sometimes go faster than I can type. Of course I cant type fast anyway. We all have those days/O:! I mean LOL! See what I mean?

LOL Yup, those pc ghosties are at it again. You may be right though perhaps my brain is speeding up as I'm getting older. In that case by the time I'm 60 I should be able to go through an entire day before I even get out of bed LOL
Thanks for responding!!

That's too funny. I usuallly watch what I am typing as I type and correct as I go along. Though there are times that there is an occassional misspelled word that gets by me that I didn't catch before I hit the submit button. Then it's too late to do anything about it.

I would suspect a virus has infected your computer and is making havoc in it. I would not think that there is a ghost in your computer. LOL.... Getting a good anti virus would make your computer work normally and would not look haunted though.

I have had the same things happen to me at times. I will be flying along and thinking I'm typing all the right stuff with maybe a few typo's then I look back and it and wonder what in the H-H double hockey sticks I just typed. Sometimes there are so many misspellings that it looked like a 5 year old typed it for ma and other times I read it and it makes no sense. Of course lots of times this happens when I'm really tired or after a really long day. I like to blame it on the little gremlins that I have too, haha!

Many times I have written sentaces that have made no sense at all, and the words were not even real words, and I just could not figure out what happened. I have no clue why this happens.

oh twoey i was only just thinking the same thing when i saw your post.i think i definately have a casper or two playing games here on my computer.i know i can spell, but when i look at what i have written, sometimes i think i have written it in another language.i seem to have my h's and a's all mixed up.i think its because my fingers can not type as fast as my brain thinks.i don't know really, but i get a shock when i see what i have typed and it takes forever to correct it.cheers sue

I reckon my computer is haunted. Does strange things like turning off by itself or opening or closing programs. Hhhhmmm, gremlins in the circirtry (sp?) cause lots of headaches this end.

I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one this happens to. It's usually the simple words that are spelled incorrectly and sometimes I really don't remember writing some sentences.

Yep, and often. Even with the spell-checker things still slip by, and naturally I don't see it until just the second AFTER I posted.
Add to that fingers that have a mind of their own and the real fun begins.

What is most eerie is when the computer does type-ahead with the right word when I'm thinking but haven't yet keyed in the wrong word. Sometimes my 'puter is a sassy brat that way. It is like Big Brother, only usually in a nice way. I try to reciprocate by being a good human and not spilling any salsa on the keyboard.

All the time. I type a sensible word like Hello and it comes out "hirtc"!! How weird is that? The doubly odd thing is that it only seems to happen on myLot. If I type a letter or an e mail everything works just fine. Must be my eagerness to pass on my words of wisdom LOL. Or maybe there is a ghost in the computer. Call a priest, I need exorcising.
