Make your own air freshener

What do you use to make your own environmentally safe air freshener? I want to start making my own, possibly selling them. What kind of container would you use for dispensing this product?

I would think glass would be the best, I use the glass bottles that you stand the sticks up in and then after a few days you turn them upside down or I use an oil burner which the oils always come in glass, maybe you could for local buyers have a refill/recycle option...good luck.

You don't suggest used spray bottles? I'd like to reuse the ones I have, I don't want to trash them. I'm not sure what I'd use for fragrance either, my options are limited around here, bit I'd like to try to find something to use.
