It's that time of year again when things become anew and the little birdies sing, at least in most places. I am still seeing reports of snow in some places. For those of you who actually have nice Spring weather, have you started your Spring cleanup yet or done any planting or gardening?Usually by now I have gotten started but my husband has been having some major health problems so we have put it off. I did start cleaning up the back a bit, but there is alot of work out there. Every year I have a little flower garden in the front by the step and need to get some flowers as last years have gone.
This is the south and here you see alot of Azalea bushes! Mine are blooming right now and my front yard looks so pink and pretty. They only bloom once a year though, then they die and it's a mess. How's your yrard looking?

I have not even got to start on my yard yet. It has done nothing but rain and flood here. We have more rain coming also. I cannot hardly wait to get outside and plant some tomatoes and green onions. We also have some yard projects planned to do this year too. We also want to put roofs over our decks. I hope we have the money and the weather holds up.

Since we're in the condo, this is my first year without a yard in years. Back east, I used to have to rake up all the leaves left behind in the fall and was always out there looking for those first little shoots from the spring bulbs. I'll wash the patio this year and have some tubs of flowers. I already moved all my houseplants out there. I saw a bunch of azaleas at Walmart this week and they reminded me of the bushes in our old house. I didn't buy them though because they'd just die out.
I also miss the rhododendrons - they bloomed a little later. Ohio still has snow so I'm probably missing all this stuff a little early haha.

I have started spring cleaning my house and we have done a little in the yard getting it straightened up looking nice. I don't plan flowers or a garden as I do not have a green thumb and for some reason can't keep things alive.
