Beware of spammers on here

Beware of adding people as friends and all they wat to do is spam you. I added peterrileyjordan (20) as a friend and I got spamed the same day from him. I should have known better by looking at the tesponces he gave to peoples topics. Good thing I can delete him and not have to hear from him again.

yes there are people who spam but still i say mylot is far better place ... i have seen much worst things.
when i added some person on yahoo messenger he gave spam+virus .

I just add friends who added me first without thinking they could be spammers, how he spammed you? that's not nice of him. I should be careful by now then.Most of the time, I remember those people who added me, they are those who responded to my discussions, and few really are friends.

Hi Mike,
You are right about that. It's kind of hard to tell right away if that person is going to spam you or not. The ones that do end up spamming me, I don't reply to their private messages that they send me about selling or buying something.

I've never had that problem before, but I'm always wary of accepting new friends. It's just something I do when requests come through.
Known spammers I never accept, and usually if I see a known spammer on someone else's list, I won't accept that user.
