I don't have a gap.
But my older son has a small gap in the lower set of teeth.
I'm not thinking of doing anything as yet. His permamnent teeth have not come out as yet...and they might be okay once he grows....if not...we might consider putting braces (I think a simple one would suffice).
I've seen people with gaps in their front teeth. It doesn't look all that bad in most people..and I usually don't bother. It's only when a person has some other problems that the gap might be unsightly...or it's probably me...and I look at the person's qualities more than their teeth..lol

I have a very small gap between my two front teeth, and the canine tooth next to my right front tooth came in sideways when I was a child and I've never had it fixed.
I like this question, bala. I would never have thought of it and wonder what brought it to your mind.

D'oh! I guess I should have read the comment where you said that, huh? Oh well, ooops, that's me, sorry. There's nothing wrong with having a gap, though - it's just part of who you are.

No balasri, I have no gap. Buy my daughter is getting ready to have braces put on. Before she can have them placed her orthodontist makes her wear this palate expander. Her top jaw is too narrow. She didn't have a gap before. Now she does because of the expander. She's so embarrased by it. I think it looks cute.

Hello dear balasri. I do have a gap in my front row of teeth. It has been like this ever since my teeth started to grow new ones, but not before that. It is ok for me as I am quite used to the gap for decades. Sometimes people would ask me for that. I don't think that there is any way to fill it up. What is most important is that I do not care about it as it does not hurt me. lol

Myself and three of my kids have a gap in our front teeth. Its the way we are and have never thought about getting anything to fill it. After all they say people with a gap in their front teeth are great singers. ;-)

Yes, I do have a little gap between my upper front two teeth. It used to bother me a lot and I even thought of filling it up, even fixed up appointment with the dentist. It was then when one admirer told me that I look sweeter due to it. And guess what, a flattery is a winner all the way!

Admirers do fill up the gaps in life and one admirer in me will keep admiring you for always.

I had about 2mm gap between my two front teeth. I used retainer to fix them. Two after I first worn it the gap had clsoed. But I continued wearing my retainer for more than 2 years to make sure the teeth are settled.
However, after a few months the gap started to appear again. 6 years after I stopped using the retainer, I went back to my dentist to get a new retainer.
It's not very convenient. I hope it would be fixed permanently without me wearing the retainer for two long years.

Well, not very far really. But the dental floss
can easily go in. Do you see the cursor when you
type your comments or replies in the box here at
mylot? About the same size.

I have a small gap in my top front teeth but nothing major. You can only really tell it when I first get my teeth cleaned and they clean the little bit of tartar build up on them. It is not very noticeable so I won't do anything with it right now.

I did have a gap in my front teeth. Right where it was very noticable and I always was self concious about smiling. Than I went to a dentist almost three years ago and was very comfortable with the way he did my teeth. I told him I needed to have my front teeth fixed and he fixed them for me. I as usual felt no pain as he worked on them. A very good dentist and now I can smile and don't worry about the gap in my front teeth.

I don't have a gap in the front row of my teeth... i guess i am quite lucky... there are a lot of famous people who do... like Madonna... and Dani, the winner of America's Next Top Model... but i don't think they did something to fill that gap... and i think that is a good thing... some may thing that this gap looks ugly... but for me... it adds character to the personality of a person...

I don't have any gap at all in between my front two teeth, and I am glad. No offense to anyone that has a gap, but I am not incredibly fond of that look... I know it is not people's fault if they have a gap, but I don't much care for them.

If it is not noticeable just leave it that way. Did you know that that kind of teeth has been a status symbol. Arnold Swarzenager is one and he dont bother to fill it up. Here in our place, the wife of a player whose husband has it on his teeth consider that gap lucky and sexy for her. But if it is noticeable go to your dentist and he will do something about that.
