I would have to say that some of my favorites are Enchanted, Bueaty And The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Anastasia. There are just some of the best, in my opinion! Why? Well, first, I love history and all of the above, at some point, took place in the past and I love that about them. Plus, I just love the fairytale aspect behind them and the music was excellent in each of these disney movies/cartooons. How about you, what are some of your favorites?

Oh I love Disney movies and I think I always will. One of my favorites is the original "That Darn Cat" with Haley Mills and Dean Jones. The thing is though I really enjoy most of their movies. The animated, the live action, it doesn't matter. Almost all of them I will watch. There are a few i don't care for but they are few and far between, like the original "Herbie" movies or "The Black Hole". However the re-make of Herbie was excellent and another favorite of mine as well along with 'Pirates of the Carribean", "Sleeping Beauty", "Little Mermaid" and so on

That was Disney too. A lot of movies are by them. It can surprise me sometimes to realize one is, like National Treasure. I always forget that one is.

I love Haley Mills but I have not seen that one. I love the origional Parent Trap however. Hmmm, is that Disney? If it is, then it's definitely among my favorites. I love that movie! I agree with you about the remake of Herbie, they did an excellent job on it but I thought the origional one was funny too.

High School Musical 2 is the sequel to the Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical. It debuted on August 17, 2007 on Disney Channel in the U.S., and on Family Channel in Canada. The premiere brought in a total of 17.3 million viewers in the United States -—almost 10 million more than its predecessor —- making it, at the time, the highest-rated basic-cable broadcast in U.S. history.[3] The premiere brought in a total of 17.5 million viewers in Asia—almost 9 million viewers in the Philippines alone - making it the highest rated international cable movie broadcasted in Asian history.[4] i love this movie!

I have never seen these two movies but I really want to. If you look on the Internet Movie Data Base, these movies are listed as Grease 3 and 4. How cool is that?

Holes. I don't really know why but we can all watch that movie over and over. When I was a kid, I loved the Fox and the Hound and Lady and the Tramp. Love stories and dogs...what else could a little girl want? lol. I also love all of the Disney/Pixar movies...except the Incredibles- it's ok but not nearly as good as the others.

I think The Beauty and the Beast is really special and the music is great too. Can you believe I have not seen all of them, though? Now that we are retired, we are trying to catch up on all the movies we missed when working 24/7, but we are starting with those on the cable TV movie channels. If we ever run out of those, we may have to rent some, but it hasn't happened yet.

I also like Disney movies especially Alladin, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Go the Distance. It is the soundtrack that I really like. I also like Anastacia. The soundtrack is really good. Hey, I think Anastacia is not a Disney movie. But it is a movie well done that can be comapared with Disney movies.

Yes, Anastasia was awesome and it definitely was well done and can be compared to the Disney movies, which is why a lot of people mistake it for one. The others that you mentioned are awesome as well and I agree with you, they have great soundtracks!

I grew up watching Disney movies. Somehow, these movies have something that made us- adults and children alike, love their movies. Number one in my list is "Beauty and the Beast". It is more on the love story side but who can beat the talking and singing tea set and the warm welcome given by the rest of the things in the house! Second on my list is "Hercules". The theme song is one of my favorites. Truly, I believe that everyone could "go the distance" if they set their minds on it. "Mulan" is third in my list. I want this one because Mulan proves that no matter what the obstacles are, a woman could surpass them and emerge to be the heroine. Being responsible for your actions is the theme of "Lion King" and it comes fourth in my list. This film made me think of how important family and obeying ones parents are. I would say that "Cinderella" is a classic and is fifth on my list. Looking beyond the love story, one will learn that working hard has its rewards. There are a lot more Disney movies that I like, but I guess we would run out of space if we continue. Each of them has its own "moral value" that it wants to instill in us. I just hope we get it and not just focus on the love story in each one. Although, have you ever noticed that most of the heroes/heroines in Disney movies are always seeking for something missing in their lives? And it would only be completed by someone who will come into their lives? Just thinking why can't we have a character who is "complete" already and is there to express himself/herself to be able to help the world? Just asking.

Wow, I never thought about it that way but you're right, a lot of these cartoons has a good morale behind it. Interesting....

I love the movie 'Finding Elmo' which I believe we could learn a very good moral lesson from the said movie and it is such a very inspiring disney movie that I have seen which reminds me of the 'Prodigal Son' story in the Bible that whatever happens our loved one will still going to rescue and find us no matter what. :-)

My all time favourite is Snow White, but there are several other Disney Films I like. Sword in the Stone, Pinocchio, and anything with Pooh Bear in, I like. In fact there aren't many I don't like really. I guess we none of us ever grow up where Disney is concerned. Brightest Blessings.

Oh, Pinocchio was a great one!

From childhood my favourite fairytale was always Sleeping Beauty, so naturally that was my favourite Disney film growing up. I even have a Maleficent doll on my desk now. In more recent years I absolutely fell in love with Lilo and Stitch. It's so wonderful. It makes me laugh and fry and Stitch is the cutest Disney character ever! I collect Stitch plush toys and other things. I have a roomful! I adore Disney. I get this great feeling of joy when I go to the Disney Store. There is magic in it. I don't think I've ever disliked a Disney film, from the live action to the animation. I adore Nightmare Before Christmas too!

My favorites are the newer computer animated ones. I do still love Aladdin though! Enchanted was cute. Cars and Meet the Robinson's are probably my two all-time favorites right now. We watch those two all the time. I am not sure if A Bee Movie is Disney because we don't own it, but that was a really cute movie too. We rented it and watched it a couple of times.

Yes, The Bee Movie was really funny. I love Jerry Seinfeld anyway and Chris Rock was hilarious in there as well but I'm not sure if it's a Disney movie either.

I have to say Im not a fan of sequels and love originals. My personal favorites that I am building a library for my kids now, courtesy of Walmart :), are: Beauty and the Beast Aladdin Lion King Bedknobs and Broomsticks The Little Mermaid I think what made them so profound for me was the music (with the exception of B&B, no offense) and I find myself even at 26 wanting to sing the songs as loud as I can. I love Belle's "There goes the Baker with the tray like always"--love that song! And who couldn't love "A Whole Knew World" in Aladdin, their so beautiful. My daughter is 3 now and in a few months she'll be ready to sit through that movie. The only long movie she was able to sit through was Cinderella, a natural phase, and Charlottes Web.

Oh definitely! The songs make these cartoons. It's so funny you should mention that song sung by Belle because my sister Vicky and I would sing it together sometimes. That and "Be Our Guest." I love doing the french accent on that one LOL...

I have quite a few that are in my favorites. I love Anastasia, although, it is not a Disney movie, but I didn't know that until recently. It is actually made by 20th Century Fox. I was looking it up online one day, for whatever reason I don't even remember, and found that out. Anyway, onto the movies that I absolutly adore! I love Peter Pan, always have, it's been a favorite since I was a child. I also love Aladdin, probably because of all the great songs that are sung in that movie, plus Abu is just hilarious. Those movies are the ones that really stick in my mind. Our family owns just about all of them, because there are four of us children (although I'm in my twenties now and no longer a child), 2 of which are under the age of 10.

Yes, Peter Pan was a good one. I really like the movie version. Although, it's not Disney but I think they did an excellent job on it and I can watch it over and over again. I just found out today that Anastasia is not a Disney movie. I love it anyway however ;-P

I love all disney movies especially those "happily ever after" movies.. I havent seen Enchanted and I was really looking for a website where I can watch it for free. Actually I do and it's where I first saw it. The website is SurfTheChannel.com. You should be able to find Enchanted there because that's where I found it. Enchanted is my favorite after Bueaty And The Beast. It was excellent and I think you're going to love it...
