Hi, mylot-ers, i just curious, what are you doing while waiting? For example you're going to pay taxes or bill, and so many people waiting in line, and you need to wait for hours there until you can pay yours... hmm... its so terrible, you spend your time just for waiting! What probably you will do if you face such situation? For me, i usually sit and become moody, i dont want to talk with people except if i meet friend or person to talk to... Or not i just play sudoku games in my cellphone...

im a pretty restless person so i usually make calls or text or just play with my cellphone and look around once in awhile. i hate waiting!!! sometimes i force myself to and relax watch people but i cant do that for long because i'll be preoccupied with thoughts of what's taking the person i'm waiting on so long.

I read a lot. If I think I can manage to read I'll take a book with me. I also try to "read" people. That is to say, I try to guess something about them. . .are they married? have kids? Pets? What kind of work do they do? It just sort of passes the time and keeps me amused while I wait.

If I think there might be a queue and I'm expecting a long wait, I'll take my walkman with me and listen to some music, or something on the radio. If not, I'll just strike up a conversation with somebody behind or in front of me in the line, and pass time that way. If there's nobody with whom I can do this, and I don't have my walkman with me, I'll read all the posters and instructions in the place, on walls and cashier's tills, until I get to the front of the queue. However, if I'm limited to a time, like an hour's lunch break from work, I will have to leave the queue and return to work, paying at another, less busy time. Brightest Blessings.

Hmm... that's an interesting question ^^ I usually watch people because it's fun... :) But when I'm alone I think about what I have to do next, and I think about a lot of things, like my friends, sometimes I think of something funny and then I'm embarassed because I'm laughing alone ^^ Buuut I like to be bored sometimes... It's relaxing :) I don't sleep a lot and I'm very bored during the night.. then I really don't know what to do... I enjoy reading but then I can't sleep :(

Hi! It depend how much i wait. I the time is not so long i don't dio anything, i just stay quite and wait my place. If the time is extending i became a little bit nervous and maybe i start to tremble my legs. To make my boredom pass away i start speaking with the people around me and so the time pass easier.

I usually have my iPod or something to play games on if I know I'm going to be waiting for a while. If I've been caught waiting unawares, I usually just sing along to my favourite songs in my head or try to organise my thoughts.

I just wait patiently. I'm not really the ipod type of person who always needs music. I might do a little daydreaming or a little girl watching. LOL

I will just observe others who are also waiting to make the payment. I find it's very interesting to watch different kind of people with different characters. Sometimes there's kids who will just running around the place. Or some businessman who will talk loudly on their phone. Or even housewives who talking about the latest gossips.

Waiting is terrible! Because you can feel the time was throw back and you life was becaming shorter. I hate standing silly, waiting for anything. So I always avoid waiting. If I can choose, I will pay taxes on line except waiting in line.

A magazine or a journal would be a good way to go. For students, if they're comfortable reading text books, why not. I am also not comfortable talking with strangers, so, I would rather read.

I bring out my cell and start playing golf in it . If the waiting turns out to be longer than that, I leave the game aside and then put on the music stored in my phone. When the waiting is further long I switch over to the radio. After this I won't do anything as the battery would give up. I would then sit watching the line shorten slowly.

I have a smartphone and it's very useful to kill the time when I am waiting. I like to watch movies at that time. So at least I won't feel so bored.
