DWTS: What a night - 3/31/08

I think Marlee is the absolute best. No contest. Not only is she the best at the dancing and all, but she is doing it deaf. I still can't fathom how she can do it so extrodinarily and not hear the beat or be able to use the sound or beat to make the steps in time and all that. Absolutely amazing. I just don't see the big attraction to Pricilla Presley. She doesn't have the personality to put into it like the others. Penn was better than she is both in dancing and personality and floor display. Oh well, I just hope MArlee wins!

Yes Marilee is amazing, she proves what I tell my children, the only people who can't do something are the ones who refuse to try. The other lady who has done a wonderful job is Priscilla Pressley, I am 51, she puts me to shame. I bet there are a lot of 30 somethings in awe of this regal lady. Did you notice last night though she seemed to be getting irratated by her pardoner? She pushed his arm and hand off of her several times when they went to the back to wait on their score, and once when they were in front of the judges. It seemed like she was saying, look I can just barely hold myself up, get off! LOL. I thought it was too cool.

I agree with you that Julianne is a fantastic dancer, and I disagreed with Adam's assessment of her wig. I thought it was surprising and adorable. Marlee is amazing to be dancing so well in spite of her deafness, but she still doesn't blow me away. I don't dislike her, I'm just not excited by her at this point. For me the performance of the night was actually... Priscilla. I came into this not expecting to like her a bit. In fact, I didn't expect her to still be around. I don't know if I'll still feel this positive about her next week, but she was great in the tango. I think that the judges were really hard on people last night, particularly Marissa. I thought she was adorable and their comments were unjust. Could it be stemming from the fact that her figure is so different from, say, Shannon's?? I hope not. (Shannon also did great, by the way). I ended up being a little disappointed in Kristi, but I blame at least part of it on her music. Where do they get some of those songs??? I really didn't feel like she deserved that 27 last night. I'm glad she got it because I had picked her to get the high score on the fantasy dancing thing on abc.com, but it was my least favorite of her performances. Back to the original question - my favorite two dances last night were Priscilla and Jason. He really does show great style out there, and he's certainly not bad on the eyes. It would be nice to see Edyta finally win one... but I think he's my choice for second. I'm still favoring Kristi.

I agree with you Marlee is great and amazing to watch. My other fav is shannon I just love her. Adam has got to stay he may not be the best dancer but hes fun to watch.

I continue to be dumbfounded by Marlee. She is absolutely amazing! One week they displayed to us what she actually hears and I think she can kind of hear the music, perhaps the beat anyway, in a fuzzy sort of way. Regardless, she is a terrific dancer with or without hearing and I am pulling for her to go all the way! I like Julianne too and Adam is pretty funny, and I did give them one of my votes tonight, but I really want to see a woman win this season. I'm betting it will be Kristi but I'm voting for Marlee.

I didn't think everyone was great tonight, but don't think the worst will go home this week. He was so busy signing autographs that he didn't practice very much. Mario made many mistakes and told us he plans to spend more time next week dancing. I guess this week wasn't important to him. There are more than 2 people that impressed me this week, but several always come ready to perform brilliantly. Marlee and Adam were great and Adam really surprised me, as he really worked hard this week. Kristi was impressive and certainly has a great chance at winning. I think she is the best female.
