Do you expect others in mylot to response to your discussion?

After being active in mylot I got a lot of discussion to response and comment. Some of the discussion is not in my interest list and I'll response if I'm interested with it. Some how I'm trying to response every discussion i got. Usually, I start with the discussion I like most in my interest list. I'll ignore the discussion that I don't have any idea to response. I'm sorry for that.
Sometimes what are we trying to rise up is not others interest. I understand what we are thinking is not others think. That why I don't expect so much others to response to my discussion.
The other reason is I don't have enough time. So.. sometimes you'll see I response to old discussion (2 or 3 weeks passed).
Do you do the same thing?

Uaually I will try to response those discussions from my mail notice.
1. Discussions from my friends.
2. Reply to my own discussions.
3. Search for discussions with no response that interest me.
And me too, I don't expect so much that others will response to my discussions as they might not be interested in my discussions.

well...i do the same thing...i almost respond to every discussion i see here...coz i like posting my views on the discussion...my priority is to post in the discussion of my interest...coz tht wuld help me as well as others....also it depends upon my mood...i post only if i find it interesting enough to post...like this one..

i am kinda like you! I will respond to the things that I am really "feeling" at the time! then I gradually respond to those I am not feeling.... but next time I log on. The discussions that I was really into the last time I was on... are not interesteing ... I am now interested in the ones that I wasn't last time! LOL geez... can I explain that any harder!

I am the same way myself pretty much. I respond to discussions I find interesting. I mean if I don't understand it or it doesn't concern me I skip the discussions. I look through my friends discussions first to see what posts I find interesting.Then after that I go to mylot to look for more discussions to respond to.

i responded a discussions which was posted one year ago. LOL. i didn't noticed about the time posted...as long as it's caught my interest. i only know when the owner the discussion said that it was posted a year ago. LOL. when i log-in to mylot i check first the discussions posted by my friends if i saw a topic that i have an idea to share so i post my comment. next is the discussions on my interest...i don't expect also respond to my discussions but i am happy if many will do.

Honestly i dont mind, i do get the feeling that many people and friends feel there friends should respond to there's but i dont get my e-mails so i never know when they have started too, also i think its inportant to make sense of what you are talking about and not just respond with a few words just to boost ur earnnings.

I will not responde if I have nothing to add. And I dont expect others to respond unless they have some sort of interest in the subject.

Definitely, I will feel extremely happy if my new discussion receives lots of responses during the first day. This means that my discussion is interesting and attractive to mylotters here. I only login mylot and could only go through the discussions and respond those which I am interested in, as I have limited time for responding them. It doesn’t matter whether the discussions are old or new as long as they are within my ability to answer. I spend most of my leisure to answer discussions. I do start new discussion occasionally.

yes i do respond to a back log of discussions when i have not been active for some time and i also get excited when people respond to my discussions its encouraging and its not all disscussions that will be in your interest so i sometimes ignore some discussions too

I never worry if I don't get responses to a discussion even though it is lovely when you do, I just think that there are so many other discussions mine has been missed or the subject wasn't that relevant to many. I carry on anwsering ones I feel I can and when I think of something to start another discussion with I do. I always respond to anyone that responds to my discussions though as I find that keeps the discussion flowing more and quite often if I go into discussions my friends have started they can be from a few weeks ago but if it is a subject I know about like you will answer. lol, i have my own way to discuss things. At the beginning I search a topic i'm intrested in, I answer it and on the bottom you see things related to that subject. I select one of those and so on and on t'ill i find something like this discussion! lol

No, I don't expect others to answer my discussions. I hardly ever make them. It is always nice when I do get responses though! 
I have answered old discussions many times since I have been here. Sometimes I don't even realize how old they are until I have my response all typed up.

If I have no interest with the discussion, or I cannot identify with it I find it hard to respond to it. I do not expect a response all the time, because what I do is not always interesting to others or they cannot identify with it. As for time, I find there is that much to do on here somedays that I just cannot keep up with it all! It is worse than working in an office.

Hi Mamagee!
Since I'm a newbie, I'm trying to still find my way around and post to whomever or whatever attracts me in discussions.
I post a response if it sounds interesting and don't expect a comment back, but so far i have had about an 80% commnt back from what i write even though i expect the person to take it or leave my response. Thats the whole reason of reading what others write to learn from them or ignore.
Well yours caught mine!
