Someone said, "A business that makes nothing but only money is a poor business." Do you agree? In my opinion, money is the main reason why most people start a business. Of course, there are some who does it for passion. It could be a fulfillment of an idea, dreams or even fun. However a business is not all about money. There are many aspects - people, fun, learning, connections, networks, etc.. On the other hand, to put it bluntly, the business will be gone if it cannot sustain itself. Friends, do you agree with the statement "A business that makes nothing but only money is a poor business."? If you are already in business, why are you in business? Is it for money? For love? For Fun? Kindly share with us the business you are in :)

I agree that, the main reason is for money that people start a business, and it becomes a passion and joy after they see their dream unfold and fall in place, Like myself I enjoy telling people about my business, I also enjoy learning, connecting with people helping people, networking with people, I'm in business to help people make money, Why, because when I help others achieve their dreams I achieve mys , so I think a business that don't care about the people in their business is a poor business,

i agree, some business not only for money, maybe for pleasure and some want to serve the people. i don't believe that business are all about money because if you think that way, you don't have love to the people around you... you also considered the benefits you could bring or share to the people that buys or want you service. if you will do thhis money will follow.

If everything is about money, then there would be no service. Good!

well there are lots of business that there busy is money. the us mint for example, banks, credit card companies, mortgage companies stock exchange so no I don't agree with this generalization, but a company that puts money ahead of safety and of employees and customers are not a very good business in terms of ethics even though their profits may be high.

That sounds familiar. I seem to have read that somewhere recently. Where is your source? I think if your passion is about the joy of making money (e.g. avarice), fine, the more money you make, the happier you are. Otherwise, if you do not enjoy what you are doing somehow, but you are making a lot of money, chances are you will not feel satisfied. You will just feel empty of sort and won't be too happy.

I totally believe in this statement. If a business is only making money, not making relationships with its customers, not helping anyone, then they will always be looking for the next customer. All it would take is a shift in buying habits or the market, and that business would be shut tight. When you are in business, it shouldn't only be for money. When you create friendships in business, when you foster relationships with your customers, this creates loyalty. These are the people that will help you through if there is a market shift. These are the people that will still patronize your business, keeping you afloat. So yes, a business that only makes money is definitely a poor business.

Yes they can, if the business owner is concerned with helping his community become better, and is sincere. If a business owner is only concerned with making money, he/she will not make many friends.

i agree with you whyaskq. Business is not all about the money..Its also concerned to the people like your clients, employee, partners and also to the products. If a businessman thinking only for the sales of the month without any balance in how they give for the best of there man. The business is nothing.. You should have a passion when you decide to make one. Once you have it, then you will have a successful business. If you mean about business of life then just give love and you will be love. Enjoy life in the fullest and you will be rich by friends.
