Well, it is a sad day for all Filipinos... as Ramiele Malubay is the latest contested to be booted of American Idol... i feel sad about this because she was not able to show what she can really do... but then she was given a lot of chance to prove that she is worthy to be the nest American Idol... Poor song choices got the better of her... well... that is not the end for her... she can still have a career in singing as long as she plays her cards right... I still admire Ramiele Malubay... and i hope she succeeds as a singer... i will surely be waiting for her to come to the Philippines...

I thought it was really sad myself. I thought she was a great singer. I also voted for her Tuesday night. I think she will still get a singing contract. I really hated to see her go. I thought and was hoping that Kristy Lee Cook would be gone.

Yeah I agree about Kristy Lee Cook. I was hoping and wishing so bad that it was her that would go home. I like both Ramile and Brooke White.

She is so adorable and cute... but that big strong voice is really something to be proud about... her song choices really got the best of her... but i think she will still do good after she is released from American Idol contract... especially when she comes to the Philippines... thanks for the response...

Well, personally I did not feel she was one of the better singers on the Show, and I wonder how she sometimes lasted as long as she did. Her song choices were Bad, and she just did never Sing and perform either like a lot of the others have. As for a Career for her, it will be yet to know as it is up to her. Only time and yrs. will tell what she decides to do from here.

Well, she is the most inexperienced among the top 12... compared to Carly Smithson and David Archuleta... and even Kristy Lee Cook... but i must admit that she should have chosen her songs wisely... and i think she will pursue a singing career after this... thanks for the response...

Ramiele is a really good singer and I know this will be the beginning of her career. I'm really sad that she got eliminated and what worse is Kristy Lee Cook is still in the competition.

That is for sure... after the American Idol US tour... a lot of offers will surely come for Ramiele... and a visit to the Philippines is very possible... getting booted off is not the end but the beginning of her singing career... thanks for the response...

She was so darn cute, that alone should bring her some success. I felt her song choices were poor too. She had such a nice voice, with the right songs to show it off, I think she would have stayed on longer. I don't think she would have won though. I'd like to see the Idol tour when it comes too.

I also did not think she would win... but i was hoping that she will be able to make it through top 6 or top 5... but i must agree that poor song choice was the main factor why she got booted off... but then... she will surely have a great singing career... thanks for the response...

She is a good performer... but it was not good enough for Simon Cowell... since he taught that Ramiele did not choose the right song for her voice... but then... being booted off is not the end but the start of a great career for her... thanks for the response...

I read about that also, I felt sorry for her. She is a good singer, I saw and heard her singing. But maybe something is in store for her in the near future.

She is one of the best singers in the competition... but then she is also the least experienced... and that might have hurt her chance... she is small but with a big voice to compensate for that small height... and for sure... she will have a good career in singing... thanks for the response...

Yup, unfortunate indeed. I was hoping for her to be the first Asian-American Idol, but well it was the choices of the Americans. To be in the final 9 is already good enough and surely that has expose her to potential contract from the recording companies.

We were all hoping for that when she made it to the Top 24... but just like you said... being in the final 9 is good enough for her to jump start a career after the US tour... and for sure all Filipinos will give her a warm welcome if she visits the Philippines... thanks for the response...

i'm also feel sorry for her. i feel sad when i knew american idol kicked her off. song choices is also one factor like the one said in the previous post but damn it's not the end of her career right? she can prove to the remaining idols and the judges that it's their loss in eliminating her in the top 10. goodluck for ramielle! be proud to be a FILIPINO GUYS!

Well, the judges did not actually kick her off the show... she did not get enough votes from the people in the US to make her stay and be a part of the top 8... but at least she will still be a part of the US tour... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot...

Well, a lot of people are wondering why Kristie is still in the competition since she has been in the bottom 3 almost every week... but i guess a lot of county song fans are voting for her... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot... and i hope you enjoy every minute of your stay here...

I was sad, but was not surprised to see her go. For the last three or four performances, she wasn't belting as much as she needs to. I mean, that's how she was liked for - a tiny gurl with a big voice. I am not sure why she was not capitalizing on that reputation at all. She was holding back. It's sad, really. I thought she was gonna make it to top 5, and that she would consolidate the votes of most Asians and Filipinos here in the United States. But it turned out sour. She could have stayed longer if she just choose the right songs to match her big voice. Wait for her in the Philippines though. I am sure she will land at ASAP or SOP one of these weeks.

Base on performance... i was not surprise to see her go... but based on the number of Filipinos in the US... it surprised me that the voting block was not enough to make her stay... but then... that is how life is... someone has to go... but i will surely wait for her in the Philippines... thanks for the response...

I feel so sad when Ramielle voted off. She has awesome voice, but sometimes She just don't pick a right song for her voice. I thought for sure Cristie will be done and going home. I still believe Ramielle will gonna be popular in the Philippines and have a good career.

I wish her the best to her career even though her road to american idol has ended.. I really like her!! She's very charming and cute... but I think she won't last lng in the competition.. She did say that her goal was to make it through each week... she did not even eye the American Idol title... i guess in her heart... she knows that someone is more deserving of that title... but then... a wonderful music career is waiting for her... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot... i hope you enjoy your stay here...

I like Carley, Brooke, Michael, David Cook and Ramiel. But it's like everyother reality shows, only one can win and rest have to move aside. I agree with you that poor song choices got the better of her.

I love Brooke White and was quite shock when she was in the bottom three this week... well at least Ramiele now has a chance to go shopping for a record deal... and she can even visit the Philippines... in which i am sure she will be welcomed like a hero... thanks for the response...

Sad to know about that..Well, it's not the end of her. She got the personality and the talent. I know she can be noticed more outside american idol. This is not the end for her but this is just the beginning. Wish her the best!

I wish she got to at least the top 3. America needs more asian singers lol. I think the gay guy named Danny who was kicked off American Idol not too long ago is also Filipino. He looks like it to me anyway. At least we still have Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls. She's Filipino too. She said that when she visited the Philipines, she cried when she sang because she was so happy to be in her family's home country.

If only she chose her songs wisely... she could have ended in the top 3... but that did not happen... i don't think Danny Noriega is Filipino... if he is... there would be a lot of buzz here in the Philippines about him... thanks for the response...

I was sad to see her go too! She has great talent. I think the fact that she is a bit on the timid and quite side hurt her votes. The good thing is that she made it as far as she did and now the public knows to look for her and support her in any future career moves. I always find it amazing how much they have to do to compete on American Idol. They sing, dance, perform, do interviews, photo shoots, car commercials and more. I couldn't imagion.

Being in the top 9 among the thousands that auditioned is something to be proud of... aside for that... she will be a part of the American Idol tour that is exclusive for those who made it to the top 10... this is like the beginning of a wonderful career for her... thanks for the response...
