How will you go to travel if it's not very far?

I want to have a travel where is not very far.But Many of my friends want to go there by bus.I don't agree with them,I think it will be very interesting if we go there by bike in such a good spring day.How do you think of it?What will you do if you want to have a travel where is not very far?

That all depends how far your talking a mile two or ten miles.. If it's really not that far and it's nice outside, I'd actually walk to where I wanted to go, Like for example I live about 3 miles away from a park I might walk that distance and than walk back again as long as it's nice remind you.. But if it's more than that than I'd rather take a car or something so I don't get to tired.. However exercise is great for ones body!

i use my bike. Bicycle is a very good option. If I just have to go a shorter distance like say 2-3 kms, I just walk and If the distance is farther than I could bicycle, I sued public transport like a bus.

I spent four months living in the Netherlands and I had a bike there and cycled to many places. It was so enjoyable to cycle along the pretty canal paths and quiet cycle tracks. Most Dutch people enjoy cycling and in the Netherlands cars are always careful not to hurt cyclists. The landscape is mostly flat and so no gears are necessary.
In my home country there are less cycle paths than in the Netherlands. There are many hills and so 21 gears maybe necessary on on bike there. The drivers sometimes hit a bike and hurt a cyclist. So cycling is not quite as enjoyable there than it is in the Netherlands. I have a bike and I have been many miles on it though. Once a driver reversed his car into me by accident. I was shaken, but not hurt and my bike needed attention. Cycling and camping can be a fun way to travel a short distance of up to 50 miles.

Well for me it depends how far the place is.If its few hours away ,I would like to go in local train but if its 1 hour bike is d best...n sespecially I love to travel with my BF in his bike...

In my country, the place, not far, depend on it's far from capital or inside capital. If it far inside capital, I'll agree with you. Because it'll make you interesting to see the sightseeing of your capital.
If it far from your capital, I'll agree with your friends. Because it's very safely.
