Every time you recieved friends request and accept it did you automatically click The NOTIFY ON or not? Sometimes I forgot so that are one of the reasons why there are only few emails that i received from my friends new discussions.
So i checked it and click on for notifications. Maybe one reasons why i got few responsed coz many of my friends did not click notify on or they just dont have an idea about it.
I'd been inactive for many months so i think mylot automaticallly notified it off? i dont have an idea how they handle things as like this.
Do you notify on all your friends?

I always turn notify on to new friends here in mylot... i think i only have two friends that have a notify off... i turned it off because they start like so many discussions that they make up a bulk of the notifications that i receive everyday... and i can't even respond to all of them... so what i do is that... but i still respond to one or two of their discussions from time to time...

It's a choice you make. if you'd like to know when all your friends start discussions you turn on the notifier and anytime anyone starts discussion you'll be notified. in fact i've got more than 200 hundren friends and i'm not on mylot every hour. i've not got enough hours to be able to respond to all of their discussions and if i put all of them on then in a few days my inbox will have no space because i know some of them can post more than 20 discussions a day and if that's done. i'll often have more than a thousand discussions to open. it'll be so cumbasome.

I do turn my notifications on, but I don't necessarily do it as soon as I add a friend. Instead I usually wait until I've 5 or 6 then turn on the most recent additions.

It's the first thing I do when I accept a new friend. I can always turn it off again if, for example, someone was posting hundreds of discussions in a day. I get a lot of notifications in my email from my friends discussions and I do read each one I get.

I turn notification "ON" for every new friend I get.
Later on... if I don't like their question... I turn it "OFF".
I usually turn it off when I get half a dozen questions in the one day... and I don't like any of them.

Hello ciades,
Whenever I accept new friend in my list, I will set the notify on. I received a lot of e-mail notifications and that is the reason why I am late in replying. I was absent from MyLot for the past three months. I always have more than enough for my 2-3 hours here and that is one of the reasons I seldom post new discussion. I prefer to respond rather than to start a new one.
