that is just so sad manya_pearl. nothing beats home-cooked meals! especially if they are your mothers. i love my mother's cooking too. i often miss it when i'm at work. i only get to go home during weekends so i tend to eat a lot during weekends when my mom is the one who cooked our meals. i hope you can soon taste again your mom's home-cooked meals!

I miss my moms cooking sometimes too. I have tried for many years to make beef and noodles and it never turns out right. I have also tried to make some good chicken and dumplings and they do not turn out either. My mom sure could make some good ones though. I miss that sometimes.

The one thing I really miss from my moms cooking was her meatloaf it was so good and even in meatloaf sandwiches it was delicious. my mealoaf is okay but never does taste the way hers did.
