Too close to home

I just found out that the owner of a body shop just up the street from our brake service shop was shot and killed.
A customer had his vehicle at the body shop for repairs and decided to sell it. Well, the new owner went to collect the car but there was money still owed on it so they wouldn't release the car. The new owner of the car went home, got his gun and went back to the body shop and killed the owner of the body shop.
What a mess. This man was a good man. He wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone. No mechanic has to release a car until the debt is paid. If someone sells it prior to paying for the repairs, shame on them. The repairs still have to be paid for.
This means we are going to have to be more concerned about our business and our lives. It was bad enough worrying about being burned or having a car fall on you or being out right robbed. Now this.

Oh No..How sad..this is like you said too close and i hope both of you do take care to protect yourselves. I don't understand these kind of people to have that much hate and to worry over a car, where a life means nothing to them.
My prayers go out to Him and His family.

that's so sad, i dont understand why some reacts in such a drastic way.
a life is a life and we should all respect that.
it is a rule that you cant get your car till you payed it fully same goes with anything that you purchase except of course if they post that you can pay it later.
i feel sorry for both families coz they will lost a man.
i have heard that the economic depression is causing so many problems physically, emotionally and financially.
this is just too sad.
i hope somehow things will get better to both families.
takecare
