For me... i prefer laptop. Its small, no need much energy compare to computer. I can bring it in travel, and charging it easily. And its more convenient to me for internet connection because i can online wireless... sometimes, i can free online in cafe or in campus, as long as there's wifi hot spot! ahahah nice!

i prefer laptop over desktop.... laptop can be taken anywhere... while using desktop one has to sit on a chair or something but in the case of laptop if someone is tired and doesnt want to sit on a chair or something laptop one can do as he/she wants.... as laptop is easier to carry!!

Now I understand that laptop is so handy and also much more convenient as I could bring it along with me wherever I go, so I make up my mind to have one. When having vacation I envied my friends could share the photos she had taken during daytime with her loved ones via her laptop and chatting at the same time. I could only share with my family using the cell phone with limited screen but expensive charge for each photo.

Laptop due to portability. However, laptops are harder to customize (or most conventional customizations negate the mobility. Parts are also harder to replace and upgrade than a desktop.

I think that I prefer laptops as far as certain things go like it is easier to pick up and take with you whenever you go somewhere and they are less trouble that way but I also would like to have a desktop because they seem to last longer than most laptops and they are a lot easier to work in my honest opinion...but that is just what I prefer...I mean like i said they both have their own advantages but i would prefer a desktop! I prefer my computer as it is a better quality than most laptops so will last me for the rest of mylife. then too I am so used to it that I would not care to switch to a laptop anyway.

honestly i also prefer laptop but laptop not too efficient in storage so i should but additional hardisk if i want to storage data in big size and the price of additional hard disk of laptop is more expensive than the price of additional hardisk for computer so at this moment, i like to use computer in my home

I would prefer to have a laptop. It would be so much easier to work with. You could work anywhere you want to. All that I have ever had is a desktop computer. I like my computer but I would love to be able to sit on the couch and work or lay in the floor sometimes.

I love my laptop also for about the same reasons. I have a Sprint Data card so anywhere I can get a cell phone signal I can use my computer. On nice days I take it with me to the park or if I am taking a lot of pictures I can download the pictures and give disks to the people that are with me. I also love that it is so easy to hide it from my kids when they are grounded also. :.)

It depends on style of work ... In comapny I work for I use classic desktop PC ... it has bigger screen and keyboard than laptop ... so it gives me better work conditions. At home e.g. at evenings when I want to see some films ... or just to browse web sites or do other less important things I preffer laptop. There are several exceptions: - business meetings - business trips - etc. Those are ideal situations for using laptop. In last time I noticed that young people buy laptops becoause and tell that it is ideal for working and studying everywhere ... but, ... most of them only play games, watch movies, chat with friends etc. In our country laptops are still more expensive than classic desktop PC.

i prefer a laptop. i own a very high end laptop and it's much better than an average desktop. it is very rich in features and has a good storage capacity, processor, etc. it's wireless, has bluetooth , media card readers and business card readers etc.
