My brothers and I use to read license plates while in the car. I still read them trying to figure what they mean and if the plate tells me anything about the car owner. Do you read license plates? Today I saw a really pretty plate from Arizona and was so busy looking at the picture that I didn't notice the letters on the plate. Does this happen to you?

Hey, I think we do have in common when it comes to license plates. When I'm out and about to travel a long way, what I make fun of doing along the road is looking on license plates and mentally reading them. I remember lots of car plates in my city and everytime I see them I'm being reminded of where they work, where they hangout or eat. These cars are usually parked in the same place everyday.

Thanks for the reply. I saw a Doctor Plate yesterday and my first thought was now I'm safe, as we just flag him down for help. My husband said what if he is not that kind of doctor. I told him then he better stop at the fire station, as we regularly see them at the grocery store. They all look good and I'll be happy to have them help me.

I guess it's kind of fun to think sometimes when you like happen to bump them somewhere and might have the chance to talk, what i woul really say is like "Hey, your're the banker right?" and they would be puzzled if how did I know what they do.. hehehe. it's actually weird but thought of it as something like a skill because others can't memorize them.

I do if I'm not driving! My grandparents used to write license plates and work on figuring them out if they didn't get it right away.

I'm glad to find somebody else tried to figure them out. I don't do it when driving. Thanks for the reply.

Nope, I don’t … I am usually too busy driving. LOL--- I look all around at the scenery instead of at license plates. When we take vacations- and I’m the passenger- my daughter and I look at the plates- but only to see where the people are from. And usually only when we are out of state. It’s fun and helps pass the time.

as the one driving, i don't really get a chance to look at the llicense plates in detail...however, there are times that when i am driving, something in the license plate would catch my attention...like if the license has a different sticker on it aside from the ones the MVA sticks....or when the letters and numbers in their license are entirely different than the usual...
