Made it to payout but my rating has gone down to a 9; Falling Star

I am happy to say that I have finally made it over the 10 dollar payout amount.
However, I was disappointed to see that my star went from a 10 to a 9.
Guess it doesn't matter. Just cannot figured out who I offended to give me a bad rating.
Has this happened to you? The Falling Star Phenomenon?

some not so nice poster is giving a lot of us negative ratings making us go from a ten to a nine it also happened to me twice i was a nine then a ten then back to a nine then to a ten for one whole day and somebody hit the negative key and the next dayi am now down to a red nine again. bah humbug I do not like this

I just hit 100 posts and found that I'm in the 9 club, too. I'm not sure who voted me down, it might be because I'm new, but I'm here to tell you it's not so bad down here :).

I've fluctuated between 10 and 9 the whole time Mylot has had this rating system. I don't like it when it falls and I also wonder who or what has caused the rating to go down. Sometimes, I've found that bragging about a star rating was enough to get it knocked down. People like to mark people negative who talk about how high their rating is.
But, to tell you the honest truth, the ratings mean absolutely nothing. And, I'm sure that after a while, your star will be back to a 10. Then, it will probably fall again, and then go back up to a 10 again.

It is back to a 10 today, not that it matters. Just made me curious as to why it had gone done. Who I had offended or whatever.
I never hav bragged or talked about my star rating on mylot as I often see people with lower ratings that seem to deserve higher ratings.
Sometimes the more liberal mylotters seem to get cheated.

I think it is kids abusing the rating system and I have reported it to my lot, I think that system should be abolished anyway.

Thanks and you are right about not being bothered about it because it really doesn't make a difference.
