Hmmm...well, let's see! I am both shy and not shy at all. I am almost an open book. But, I think I would shy away from Big Brother. Mostly because it would bother my Mom if I were on it. I actually started to fill out an application about 3 or 4 years ago, then, my beloved 2 and a half year old Siamese cat had to be put to sleep because she had kidney failure...a typical problem for Siamese cats for some reason. So, I lost motivation because I was petty distraught for a while. When I told my Mom that I nearly applied, she told me she was happy I didn't follow through with it. I am a pretty sensitive person and, as we have seen, you need a pretty thick skin to be a part of BB because your fellow hgs can be pretty brutal. My Mom thinks that they would break me. The hubby always tells me I should try to get on but, I guess I have decided to just enjoy watching others torture one another. LOL! As for turning my back when I change my clothes...nah. I don't have any problem being naked around my hubby. I used to. Back when we first started dating, I couldn't even put on deodorant in front of, or near him, without getting embarrassed. I don't know why. I know...that is pretty weird. But, now I pretty much live in front of him like no one is watching. LOL! In fact, after I shower, I walk around naked in the bathroom until I am done doing all of my primping stuff like moisturizing my face and body, brushing my teeth and drying my hair. I will get to warm during those activities (especially drying my hair) so, in an effort not to undo what I did to get clean by sweating and getting myself dirty again, I just do it all sans clothing. LOL! So, I am shy on occasion. I actually can get really uncomfortable in a crowd. If I am talking to a group of people, even as little as 4 people, I might suddenly realized that all eyes are on me and I will start blushing. It is bad enough that I can feel the blush! LOL! So, that is my story and I am sticking to it!

i kind of agree. haha .not all girls like shy boys :) ;) in my country, most of the girls like guys that isnt shy, they will dump the guy right away if they are shy to ask the girl out. well its cultural i guess. :) but i like girls who likes shy boys too. there is a mystery to that and i dont really get it.

Well yes I would go and participate in BB when given the chance. Yes it seems that all your movement will be watched by a large number of people but mostly participants do it for the money and fame. I would do it for the money for my family. The camera may be there and you would know it of course. It will be awkward first I guess and you would be conscious of how you move and talk but then if you don't get eliminated and as time goes by, you will get along with it and get used to it. Well, there are a lot of ways in making your moves not so embarrassing like if you are shy in changing clothes then you can use a large towel or the bedsheets.

Yes I can see from our country that most of the girls they get for BB are the daring ones and those that have a body to show. Doesn't that seem to discriminate other girls? Well, I know tis for the ratings ... but isn't the game for equals?

Don't laugh now Rose. I am actually pretty shy in person, at first anyhow. After that, ya gotta tell me to shut up. I don't think I could do a show like that. All the little trouble makers, I would be having a hissy fit. I know it's a game, but I don't like to be coniving and ugly. Trust is something hard earned, respect also. I would be calling them out. I wouldn't last because of it. I would go from shy to "no you didn't" so fast it made their heads spin. You know how I am. I am honest as the day is long. Not a good idea for a show like that. It usually gets used against you.

Lol. I actually can be shy. I don't see it being an issue with you, after all, we have only been friends online for several years now. And I am going to take the fact that I would get kicked off for being myself as a compliment. Truthful, yes, tactful, no always, lol. I do try though. Hugs

I dont think I would like to be on BB. But I am not in the least bit shy. Now I would like to be on Hells Kitchen. As a child I was very shy, but now as an adult I have come out of my shell so to speak. I even teach some classes (not for this though) and have been the hostess for some of my club's functions.
