I need some good tuna recipes...preferably ones that don't use mayo since i don't like mayo or miracle whip or anything like that very much...i am trying to use up what i have instead of being tempted to go grocery shopping!
thanks!!

You can make tuna patties, tuna loaf, tuna melts, tuna n noodles, tuna and cheesy rice or tuna and mac n cheese. You can also put tuna in maccaroni salad. Of course there is always tuna sandwiches or tuna casserole. Creamed tuna on rice is another idea, or on biscuits.

Tuna pot pie is good. Add a can of tuna to a couple of cups of mixed vegetables and thicken it with cornstarch in a little cold water. Cook it until it's thick, then pour it into a pie shell. Either cover it with crust or with a lid and bake at 400 until the crust browns.
Fried tuna sandwiches:
Make a tuna salad with boiled eggs, pickles, onions, cheese, etc., however you like it. You don't have to put mayonnaise or anything like that in it. Make sandwiches with this and cut them in two. Dip them in beaten egg quickly, turning so that the edges are covered, and fry them quickly in hot oil, turning to brown both sides.
Serve hot.

I make tuna noodle casserole, with about 3/4 of a bag of egg noodles, 1 can of mushroom soup, 1/2 can of milk, a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 stick of margaraine, 1 can of tuna, and 1 tablespoon of sour cream.
Mix it all in a caserole dish, if you wish you can garnish the top with a litle more shredded cheese, bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
Not particularly figure frienly, but it is tasty and feeds the whole family.

My son and his father love to have Tuna and Rice. They just make a bowl of rice and add a can of tuna to it. That's their favorite thing to eat! I can't stand the smell. Lol.

i like using it in sushi. its not that hard. just get some sushi rice mix, and put the powder in the rice pot when it cooks. fry the can tuna up with some shoyu and a pinch of sugar - set aside, fry an egg (scrambled) and slice into strips and put whatever else you want, then roll it up. my mom also used to fry tuna, onions and eggs together and put it over rice for breakfast. add a little shoyu for taste. other then tuna casserole i don't know anything else.

With over 100,000 members here you should get at least 300 suggestions to make tuna noodle casserole! Is mushroom soup on your forbidden list? Don't forget the celery. Mmmmmmmmm. I'll be right over. I love tuna noodle casserole. Please used egg noodles. Ah, but really, almost any pasta will do. Shells, macaroni, whatever!
