Hi Jay Yes i started wearing glasses to read when i turned 50..6 yrs. ago and now i depend on them and can't see much without them unless the lettering is bigger. It seems most books and magazines have gotten smaller in print size.

Yes I wear reading glasses over my contact lense. My glasses are bifocal so there is no need if I have them on instead of my lense

Since I started wearing eyeglasses, I always wear it until I go to bed. I heard everybody said that if the short-sighted person don't wear glasses usually, the eyes will be heavier. I had try don't wear it, I got heavy some degree.

No, I don't. But I do wear FAKE eyeglasses in class before to make me look.. nerdy. hehehehe.. ^^ Well, I started taking good care of my eyes when I reached my mid-twenties like when am in front of the computer, i'd wear light shades and also change the fonts to bigger sizes. So far, eyesight is still good.

Yes, I do wear glasses when I read. I have been wearing them since I was six. I had trouble reading the board at class so I had to get them. My eyes seem to be getting worse lately though, because now I have to wear them almost all the time. While I'm at work, its blurry when I take them off.

Hello dear Jay. I am near-sighted. I have been wearing glasses since I was a senior high school student at the age of fifteen. I hate to be nearsighted as I cannot see things clearly without wearing glasses. Now my glasses have been part of my body. It is nice that you enjoy good eyesight, from the avatar of which I can see that.

I started during my 2nd year in college. I found it hard to read what my professor writes on the board. I was sitting at the back ^^ so I had my eyes checked. Turns out I have Myopia or nearsightedness which means I can't see clearly objects from far away.

I never wear eyeglass all times. I have a good eye sight. Personally, I think to keep your good eye sight is you should take more Vitamine A & E.

I need to wear glasses to see the blackboard and in general to be able to see peoples' faces when they are waving at me...(It gets kind of embaressing when they wave at you and you don't know who they are). But I don't like wearing them becaude I feel that they don't suit me...

I have been shortsighted since the age of about 14. I started with glasses but switched to contact lenses a few years ago, I find them much more comfortable and easy to use, it's almost like having my sight back. I use a computer at least 8 hours a day, and I'm convinced it is the reason why my sight is deteriorating. The opticians usually say that this condition is hereditary, but the rest of my family have pretty good eyesight, and I'm the only parked in front of a PC all day!
