is tap water unhealthy?

Well in my place tap water isnt that bad . so i dont think that tap water is bad

I always drink tap water.but i cannot say if it is healthy or not.some people get mineral water in taps.thats healthy.otherwise in rainy season we must boil water and drink.Its healthy.

I don't mind the taste of tap water here in San Diego, but a lot of people complain about it. In certain areas of Michigan, where I grew up, they relied on well water that was highly sulfated. It stank and smelled to high heaven and was virtually undrinkable, though it wasn't harmful. But, now, I wonder about tap water especially when I heard about all the prescription medicines that a study said that it found in it.

I don't like the taste of water straight from the tap. I have a water filter which I fill with tap water and it filters out most of the impurities. I keep it in the fridge so it is lovely and refreshing. I sometimes buy bottled water, but I think we are usually paying for the label. Water is water.
