Rain.

It has been raining here all day, yesterday was lovely sunny and almost 70, today it is cold dark and rainy. As the day has gone on I have just gotten more and more tired and crabby. I also noticed that the customers that came in today were also ,much more quiet, and crabby today. You would think after a long dark winter, we would be glad for the rain. That means it is spring right? I have several friends who love it when it rains, they get happy. Not the case for me anyways, I am annoyed

Hi Deea :) lately the weather has been really bothering me. I have been very moody over the last week/s and it's probably because I caught a cold and it got worse, but now I am feeling better.
I really can't wait for the sun to appear - I don't do so good in the cold. It's suppose to be spring but the weather has been lousy and I have been feeling lousy too.
I would love for sunshine now even though I do like the rain on occasion but not all the time :)

That sounds like my day yesterday. It rained all day long and into the night. Normally we don't have much rain this time of year. I was having a bad day with pain anyways but the extra humidity just made me totally miserable. The only nice thing was because of it the temperatures didn't get too high, like it had been the day before. Still it made for a long day with a lot of aches and pains. I do like the smell of the rain and how it gets rid of the pollen in the air but it's not enough for me to ignore the misery it puts me in.

I hope you got the warm and sunny days and it has helped your mood. I know here we've been having them. Thankfully not so hot we had to turn on the a/c although it came close at one point.

You know Emerald I feel my aches and pains more as well in this weather, plus it is effecting my mood so. I am not usualy down like this, so I get concerned if it is not passing you know? I think a few warm sunny days may just do the trick.

I likea nice Sunny Day, I don't like Rain, but it is a lot better than Snow. I am glad it is Spring thouh, I like to see flowers bloom, especially tulips, they are so pretty. How are you dee? I hope all is well.

I hear ya Marcia, about the snow, and we may get more this weekend. I tell you this has been one long winter here in MN. I am doing better today we finaly had some sun, my spirits seemed better as well, thank goodness. Thanks for asking

rainy days usually bring people down, sunshine makes people happy, there has been many studies on this. Yes it affects my mood as well.

As long as I didn't have anything outdoors planned . Or a beach trip, I love rainy days. It is darker outside so it is the best day to stay in and watch a good movie.

Hi Deea I will take a nice sunny day over a rainy day.LOL Today was damp and raining all day. I did some shopping but was in a crabby mood too. Its just the beginning of April and the rain is here to stay for awhile. Try and look on the bright side after the rain we will have pretty flowers every where.LOL

Hi Deea, I like rainy day. The air is fresh and the weather is rather cool. I don’t have to stay in the house with all the windows closed. Very often the air is rather dusty during sunny days especially at the long dry season. I like to watch the plants growing vigorously and lively in my courtyard after the shower. It’s pleasant to watch the water flowing swiftly in the drain around.

Well it is still cold here as well now, I think it is just the lack of sun that is getting to me. Makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning. But I know it is that time of year. But like you when it is summer and we get rain, I of course appreciate those rains.

at least it's warmer there than it is here.
On Saturday it was really sunny and quite warm about 50 max, by sunday morning when we got up it had snowed and it also snowed again last night. It has melted now. But at night it is really cold.
I would prefer to have rain and it be warmer. We need some rain for the summer or my plants wont grow.
Perhaps you need to do something exciting to cheer you up. Go do something crazy even walking in the rain, if it's that warm i would. Go splash in some puddles. I know i'm a big kid.

Hehehehe I can see you are a big kid, when you said that the 1st thing I thought was no way then I would be cold and wet. We had some snow Monday morn, but it didn't stay. I hear we are to get more within the week here as well. *sigh* Sun, I just need some sun..
Not so warm here now either. This too shall pass, it will be great to see the fresh flowers, I can't waite for that.

The rainy season is over for us now. It's summer here and it's time for us to enjoy the sunny weather at the beach. Sunny day is , of course, better than a rainy one. I can do more things when the sun is shining brightly in the sky.

Here we have the snowy season, so you would think rain would be a welcome change. I am still feeling just tired and on edge. So I am blaming the rain, since it hasn't stopped all day.Like you I can do much more if it is sunny out, thanks for your response.

i think that if it is like on a sunday where there isn't much to do that it is good whenever it rains because it is a good day to lay around anyways and it is kinda soothing with is what you need after a long week and before you start another week...i mean that is the best way that i can relax is if i am laying in bed and trying to sleep and it is rianing...i like it if it is like that but not like on a saturday...

I work every Sunday, it is usually a nice day to work, and when I started out the day. I was in good spirirts, but as the day went on, so did my good mood. I started to feel edgy and tired. Maybe I was this way just because it rained all day. Thaks for your response jhl

i've always liked rain since i was a kid. i grew up in the tropics and the rain would cool things off which is nice. now i no longer live in the tropics but i still like rain, not sure why. i especially like it when it rains at night, right at bed time. the sound of falling rain gives a soothing and calming effect.
but i know what you mean, after it rains day in and day out, it can get a bit depressing. then i would long for the sun. so actually i like a balance. sunshine for a few days, and then rain for a day.

I don't mind the rain ever once in awhile. But thats all it has done here in Indiana. It was either snow or rain and I'm tired of both. So at this point I would love to have sunshine.

I know what you mean queenofarms, we have had snow, snow and more snow this winter, and of course a bunch of grey days. This seemed like such a long winter this year. I should be happy for the rain, but now all I see is cold and gloomy. I hope you get sun soon. I hope we get sun again soon as well. Enough is enough already.

It was cold yesterday, and rainy here today. We went to church. Had family over for breakfast, and then I slept most of the day. I love when it rains, it helps me sleep better. Though I'm in a quieter mood, I'm in a more relaxed mood.
I love it when it rains.
Just not when it' cold.
Yay for Spring!
