first u pullof all the key from the keyboard. then u can wash and clean them with glass cleaner. clean the keyboard point with a cotton cloth smoothly. then set the key. i think u get a better performance.

Before your post i opened my key bord remove all key and rubber inside and leave all plastic or rubber part in a bucket of water (not keyboard chip)then dry it with hairdryer and fix it. It takes a time but i will try your trick but when i washed all keybord this will make my keyboard key softer.
