This is a true story.. A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.
Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, "Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home & committed suicide.
Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognize the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.
People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.
I was deeply touched...

I once received this story in my phone as a text message. I must admit this is tragic. But I am not sure if this is a true story of more fiction. I know it's a possibility, but it's hard to accept these tragic stories are actually for real.
Sad, really. Hope this one is not really as real as one would think it is. Just thinking.

OMG... this is really really sad... imagine what anger can do to us and when we can't control our anger... the consequences are really scary... two lives are ruined just because of a truck... truck is a material thing that can be repaired even if it is damaged... but human lives are much much more precious than that... i really can't believe this...

this is absolutely true, you never hurt the person you love especially when it is only for revenge, a loving spirit shows love as the way to handle a situation not abuse that can never never be taken back.

That is so awful. We all have prize possessions but that is unreal what the father did to the little boy. I would have committed harry carrie also if I flew off of the handle like that. I feel sorry for the little boy and the father, really. It is awful that he could not control his temper and took it out on the little boy.

Oh, what a sad story. We don't ever think before we act and its sad. I have had alot of my things broken by my children. Some were things that belonged to my passed family members. But I never thought of hurting them this way. And you're right we are human and we all make mistakes.
