We do not know if there are other planets with life in the universe. There may be similar planets to us with similar life forms. I think they have identified Earth type planets in other parts of the universe. But, some people say that even other earth type planets cannot support human life, and that our Earth and Manking is unique, and that we are a one-off. Personally I can't believe that we are alone in the universe. That would be bizarre. But if we were, then Mankind should be behaving better, making sure that everyone is safe and planning to visit outer space. Would it change your view of the World if you knew for certain that Humanity was a one-off?

I don't think we are alone in the universe, in the first place, because there are Angels who definitely weren't born on Earth. But, even if we were alone, I know it's because of God's plan and I don't think we are going to be alone for all eternity. I don't think a planet has to be Earthlike to support life. We humans, here on Earth, have an extremely limited view of the universe. We are so far away from anything and we have no means of travel to really see what's out there. I'm hoping that when I go to Heaven, I will be able to visit other worlds and see the universe as it really is.

I forgot about that: other life forms do not have to be similar to humans!
