Woman falls down cliff and is rescued by her dog

This woman who was out walking her dog near Poway Lake, in our east county near San Diego, like she normally does slipped and fell down a 100 foot cliff. Her dog ran up and down the cliff trying to get people's attention when one of the woman's friends saw him wandering around by himself. The dog then led the friend to the woman who was carried back up by firefighters. dogs are really very much loyal to their owners.They spend almost their entire life to their owners.I am really happy to hear that she was not hurt.I am still in the dark ,for,I havent known the reason why,some owners desert their pets heartlessly.Let them understand the loyalty of the pets atleast by reading this. Thanks for answering. Yes, people shouldn't desert their animals if they no longer want them, that's pretty cruel and I don't understand that either.

Ys, this sort of thing is why it is never a good idea to walk alone. This dog was a woman's best friend!

I think she was also lucky that someone who knew her and her dog knew something was wrong when she saw the dog alone.

Yeah, she was on the news today and it looked like she was feeding her dog a whole box of dog biscuits. Chances are, though, the dog probably doesn't know it did anything special.

I'll believe it. I have a dog that physically pulled me out of a sewage trench that I fell into when I was a bit younger. She didn't wander off a bit- just let me grab her leash and pulled me out. Dogs can be incredibly loyal if an owner treats them properly.

Yeah, I wonder if this dog could have dragged her, too. It was a Great Dane.
