I have joined a few pay sites and they want my tax info before i get paid. Is this right? Why would I need to submit this before I earn enough to have to report? I am worried they might sell my personal info so I don't think I'll do these sites.

I only know of one site that requires that, and that is Hits4Pay. I've heard it's a legit site though, so I don't know.

Not all sites require this. Most of them indicate that it's your responsibility to report this to the government. It all depends on the site.

yes it is really needed specially if you are american citizen because part of your earnings will go to tax and i think the site will shoulder our tax. it is one of the requirements in publishing a website specially money making site. if you are not sure of this and your personality is so confidential much if you will not post your info until the payment is ready for transfer.
