My hubby..the weather man! NOT

Ok so my daughter states,Mommy I'd like a donut. My husband tells her she cannot go to the donut shop unless mommy comes too. So I decide not to be the bad guy this time. And we start our walk to the donut shop.But not before looking outside at the overcast sky. I say"Better just take the car." Hubby says" Its been overcast like this for over an hour.Not raining." So the shop is a mile from the house and we make it there. No rain. Hubby and daughter take a few minutes to pick out their treats. During this I am watching the sky grow even darker. Hubby says "We may get sprinkled on." As we leave afew drops hit my head.I say "oh great." Longer story short we walked home in a 10 minute down pour! Had a good giggle,soaked to the bone.
Anything similar ever happen to you where the significant other talked you out of better judgement?

He always chalks it down to "I don't know" So I hardly worry about taking his word for anything.

LOL. That sounds about like my husband. He tries to tell me things all of the time and try to persuade me do things when I know better. I finally give in to him only to be let down again and cursing myself for not following my better judgement. He just looks at me anymore and says, you were right honey, always are, LOL.
