All the time I am a very patient person but sometimes I get a bit annoyed at them too.

LOL how I react depends on the ppl who's cart it is..if its an elderly person or couple I'll just say "excuse me, I'm just goin to move this over" wiht a smile and they are cool with it..BUT if its a couple or group of clucking yammering inconsiderate types who DONT move when I say "excuse me" to pass...I'll say it again louder and stronger and if they still dont move or shoot me a look then just shove their carts the hell out my way muttering nasty comments as I pass them (but I mind my mouth depending on who's around) LOL...My husband doesnt care for it when I do that but too damn bad..I'm really nasty when I see those same ppl not moving for the elderly or disabled etc BEFORE I try to pass...then I'm a right royal pc of work

That gets on my last nerve also. I even say excuse me and they still stand there and do not move themselves or their carts out of the way. I really don't know why some people just have to be rude. I feel sorry for those people though because one day they will pay somehow for their rudeness.

Oh some people are just downright rude! I get this all the time and I stand and say excuse me, no response, a bit louder, they just look at me and carry right on talking and so I say it again even louder and get dirty looks! I have a young daughter and I have noticed recently that people just have no consideration towards small children anymore. She has just started wanting to walk everywhere rather than go in the pushchair, she is only 2. We had just dropped her brothers off at school the other day and were walking home when she fell over, I had just picked her up and we were about to carry on walking when a man came rushing past from behind us squeezed himself through without a word and knocked her over again. Then he had the cheek to turn round and say sorry, I said you are not sorry at all because if you were you would have said excuse me before you tried to shove your way through! I was fuming.

Yeh I really hate that its people who stand and have some amazing reunion with long lost friends right in the middle of an aisle that really annoy me though I just think if you have time to stand around and chat dont do it in the way of all the people who might actually have somewhere to be in a hurry or in my case two children under 5 who want to be there for a short a time as possible!

I find that most of the time people are concentrating on their shopping and don't realize that their cart is in the way and are willing to move it so I can get past or to the product I'm looking for. Most of the store isles are so narrow that it's hard to see that the cart is in the way. I just say excuse me can I get by and they move the cart and say sorry.

This is a problem at the market I shop at, the ailse's are crapmed enough as it is let alone someone hovering right in the middle. I usualy just say excuse me and they move out of my way, but they should have the common sense not to be there in the first place.

Like duh? - move out of my dang way!
I don't get it either Laura but I will say "Excuse me please" and if they don't like that then they can shove it where the sun doesn't shine because I don't care. You have every right to shop there as you do and if they don't like that then too darned bad. I've had an instance where three big boys wouldn't move so hubby and I could get through so I said EXCUSE US PLEASE! loud enough for several to hear me and they gave me a dirty look and I said to them, move out of the way! and they did just that because they knew I meant it.

I hate it when people feel they have to be like that. Move your cart to one side or the other. Another thing that makes me mad is when people stop in the middle of the aisle if they run into someone they know or have not seen in a while. Either make it short and sweet or move to an aisle that has little traffic in it.
