For many people, walking in the rain can be a pleasant and soothing experience. For those who wear glasses, though, drops of water on the lenses can be very annoying. Are you interested in returning to your days before glasses? Or you are wearing contact lenses forever and never dare to risk any procedure? Lasik eye surgery is the most widely used surgical procedure for vision correction nowadays. It's said,A Lasik procedure immediately improves the focus of light on the retina. Within only one day of recovery, patients already notice a significant difference, and about 70 percent regain 20/20 vision. Have you ever undergone a Lasik surgery? If you were given a chance to restore your eyesight, will you go for Lasik procedure ? I wear glasses which no good to my beauty all day long.I wore lenses once, but my eyes were not comfortable with them in my on my eyeballs.Lenses made my eyes sore and dry.I really hope that one day I can restore my eyesight. But I will be very careful about that,I will go for a Lasik procedure if I'm 100 percent sure it's without any risks. After all, you have only got two eyes---and they need to last a lifetime.

I personally want to get lasik surgery. I've been wearing glasses since I was 12, and now I even wear contacts. I hate them both, and wish that I had the funds to get the lasik surgery. I am going to wait though, because I want my boyfriend to get it more than myself. He was told he could be completely blind by the time he is 35, and he's already 23 and having difficulties. My eyesight isn't nearly that bad, so I'm more worried about his than my own. If anyone gets lasik surgery, it will be my boyfriend, and than myself later in life.

I don't think I would get it done, I have lived this long with my eyes as bad as they are I have worn glasses and contact lenses and I am used to them this way. I don't like people playing with my eyes, if I lose my sight because of a bad move on the part of a surgeon that is it, so I would rather stay with what I already have and be happy.

I so want to get Lasik and as soon as I can afford it I will have it done. I have known many people who have had this done and all are happy with it. The only issue was dry itchy eyes for a few weeks after the procedure but they are all very happy they did it.

lasik is a procedure that permanently changes the shape of the cornea, the clear covering of the front of the eye using an excimer laser.some people have got excellent results but i will talk about risks too.some patients lose vision which cannot be corrected by glasses, contact lenses or surgery.some patients develop glares, halos, double vision that can seriously affect night vision too.even with good vision at chart some people do not see well in teh situation of fog.be very cautios about it an do not be influenced by your friends and doctors as this is a relatively new technique and not much is known about its long term effects!

Hi gxnfly! I too wear glasses since my childhood. I also tried lenses for 5-6 years but I stopped already using lenses since it cause my eyes damage. My doctor told me that I better not use it to not aggravate the damage. It's like a wound in our eyes and it really sucks.I also know someone who had gone lasik procedure and she said that it regain her sight to 20/20. I am also considering to undergo into that procedure but like you said I also want to be 100% sure that it is safe and I wanted it to be done by a medical practitioner that I really trusted. I don't want to risk my sight in just jumping into the procedure without any assurance. I've also advice by some friends that the procedure may seem easy but it has a bad side also. And I'm sure you know what I am saying.

I have pretty good eyesight right now. I do not have to wear glasses or contacts yet. If I ever had to correct my vision and was given the chance for lasik, I would try it to avoid glasses and contacts.
