Yhea your right now a days maybe we can't stay long without electricity because we are really used to these new and modern technology and we are now very dependent on these. But I just thought so long ago when they still don't have electricity they can survive, maybe if it will happen now we can survive unless water will also not be present. I just thought I can live without electricity but never without water.

If the electricity has not been invented we should live lifelong happily. But now we cant do that because there is no seconds we live with out using electricity even when we are sleeping. We use Fan or A/c while we r sleeping. So it will be so hard for us to live without electricity.

I don't know what I would personally do without electricity. I'm sure we could live, yes, because they did it before electricity was invented! It will be tough, and very annoying, but yes it can be done.

I would hate to give up my air conditioner and washing machine. I don't want to wash on a washboard. Just think of the useless appliances that we would have. Most of us would have to carry water. Those with fire places would be able to keep warm in winter. We would have a lot less leisure time to spend on the PCs. Our ancestors did with out it for a long time. I like electricity. Thank you Bengermen Franklin for discovering it.

It's dreadful. Now that we are computer dependent, I find it very imporssible to live without electricity. Almost all the applliances in the house need electricity to run and if the power is out it feels miserable. However, I was able to survive for almost one year in Benguet, Philippines without electricity. As long as there is available water in the house it was fine with me. I worked there as a volunteer and houses don't have electricity deep in the mountains. But people can live simply and contented with what they have. It's just the attitude, I guess.

We are so used to electricity that it would be hard to get used to not having it. Think about all the things we have that involve electricity. That means that we woman and any men that take care of doing dishes or vacuuming the floor would have to do this by hand. No dish washers, washing cloths another way than a washing machine. I have to laugh because I have heard women say that they couldn't do without their wash machine. Or the dish washer. I could get along without electricity but it would not be very easy.

We don't have to imagine. We experience it from time to time. But better than cursing the electric company we use it for a more productive pass time. Like social chat, maintenance, gardening and others.

don't even think about it!! its not possible for us to survive without electricity, if electricity is not available anymore everything will be worse, the economy of the world will fall, imagine those hospitals, communication centers, gas stations...with out electricity, life will be too hard to push, in our country electricity is off in shifts(days), and whenever our shift comes i feel bad, and alone, i cant live without electricity! may be you don't know how you feel with out electricity!

I can not imagine living w/o electricity. We would have no hot water, no showers. We would all be living in camps and cooking with the campfires. We would have to go back to hunting and gathering for our food.

I cannot imagine my life withhout electricity. I have to have it because I have to have the internet to get my daily earnings these days. If I didn't work from home on the internet, then it wouldn't be too bad to live without it. We could use lanterns and such.

Without electricity is like being catapulted back to the Dark Ages. Life can still prosper without electricity and if it were not discovered, we would have found other ways to have power to run our factories and light our homes. There are a lot of possibilities. The world indeed would be very dark without electricity but civilizations prospered without it for a long long time and I am sure we could too without out. Electricity makes like easier and I find it to be more of a convenience than necessity.

Definately not. I remember when I was at high school,I aways hope that something went wrong with the eclectricity so that we didn't have to go to classes at night. But now I can't live a day without electricity, cook ,TV,computer, all need electricity. When the electricity went out here sometimes,I just didn't know what to do,I couldn't even cook.
