Vanilla Ice was held without bond Friday following his arrest on a charge of simple domestic battery after an alleged argument with his wife at their South Florida home. The 39-year-old rapper's wife called the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on Thursday night, saying he had kicked and hit her. She later told deputies he had only pushed her, the arrest report said. The report said Vanilla Ice denied pushing her. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney. His agent, Tommy Quon, said he hadn't heard about the arrest and couldn't comment. Vanilla Ice spent a night in jail in 2001 after being arrested following a domestic dispute. He sold 15 million copies of the single "Ice Ice Baby" in 1990. http://www.music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=309147>1=7702

I thought this guy was a loser in the 90's it seams like he still is. Takes a real loser to hit his wife don't you think?

He has been in trouble before. This doesn't surprise me. I have seen him on a reality show a time or two. He appears to have a pretty bad temper. His wife may have changed her story out of fear. He may take it out on her later. You never know.

I actually heard about this somewhere but I forgot where. Ice Ice baby was a pretty cool song. I guess. Did he even do any other songs or anything after that?

Oh dear icy - rather appropriate name for this article (tee hee). Well, whatever the dispute was about it sure cooled him down to be taken away and stay overnight in jail. There is no excuse for anyone (male or female) to act like this. Even if his wife has backed down a little bit she still felt that she was in enough danger to call the police in the first place. Hopefully he won't be doing that again! Thanks for sharing that with us
