I have never heard of mutton. What is it? I love chicken I love it when it is deep fat fried with a crispy skin but right now I am on a diet and can only eat the boneless skinless good for you chicken.

I like chicken. reason is that there is so much you can do with chicken and so very little you can do with mutton, but as for taste then i would have to go with mutton

Mutton is actually very hard to find in my area and in the United States overall. For some strange reason, people in this country do not even like the taste of lamb unless it's young, spring lamb. I love mutton, but I just can't find it. I would gladly choose mutton over chicken if the prices were the same. But, mostly I eat chicken as it's a lot cheaper than anything else and it's very commonly found here.

I was going to say I'm not even sure what mutton the first response seems to indicate it's sheep. I always assumed it was from a larger animal, maybe I dunno, something cow like you know ox... or somesuch, some form of game animal. Anyway yeah Even here up in Canada it's not a popular thing, then again sheep meat in general isn't popular up here. At least, not in my part of the middle of nowhere. I've had lamb once and wasn't impressed, it was okay but not some great wonderful food like people had tried to tell me. So for now I'll stick with chicken as long as it's bbq'd.

I like Chicken, I am not a huge fan of mutton to be honest. I have chicken with everything, so tasty.
