I love mozilla firefox. It is so cool and has many add-ons you can use to control what can or cannot invade upon your computer. I have been using firefox for 2 years. Before that, it was IE. What's yours and why and how long have you been using it? I just hated netscape browser. It was cumbersome and it didn't read many webpages correctly.

I prefer Opera, because it's very fast, small in size, & packed with dozens of functions by default. Firefox was nice, but the later version is just getting worst... IE just plain junkware, it's the slowest, lack of useful functions, & so outdated compare to the other major browsers! By the way, early Firefox is based on Netscape browser. But the later version 8 & 9 of Netscape is based on Firefox.

I give you best response because you offered information about other browsers. I didn't know Firefox was based on Netscape platform! Thanks for the info! I have heard about Opera but never tried it. Maybe I will?

I tend to still use IE for a back up browser when other sites will not let me view it unless I am using IE. Such as paid surveys. Thanks for the response!

I love to use internet explorer. Alot of sites that I am joined with require the use of it also. I have tried firefox but it did not work very good with my computer so I changed back to internet explorer. I have Netscape also and never use it either because it just isn't capable of what I need.

I keep and only use IE for those paid surveys. Pinecone Research often requires that we only use IE for a few of those surveys. But other than that, I try to use Firefox first, always first. I will use IE when necessary.

i'm currently using firefox too. it's pretty cool. however, there was one time i was checking out a website and it said that it has detected that i'm not using IE so it cannot show me the link. too bad. i still didn't get IE though... i'm happy and contented with my firefox. :)

I've come across that too and I will occasionally open up IE and paste the link and hope it doesn't infect my computer! LOL!

firefox - firefox~
my favourite browser is firefox. i've been using it for a few years now and hardly use IE already. started using firefox because of the tabbed browsing; coz i dont like to have so many IE windows cluttered on my taskbar. although IE now has tabbed browsing but i'm still sticking to firefox

I really like Firefox once I get the program opened and running. It is a bit slow to start up but I think Firefox is worth it anyway.

Mozilla Firefox I have been using firefox since it was named Firebird. It is fast and tabbing does the surfing alot easier. Advantages: + Extensions + Tabbing + Themes + Fast + Shows website as it should (IE doesnt show some sites right) Disadvantages: - A bit slow to start up, but why shut Firefox down? - Firefox 2.** can use alot of memory after a couple of days.

How does the Thunderbird compare to Outlook Express? I have thought about using it but haven't yet and wanted a little feedback first.

Firefox !! Hmmm.. I would prefer Firefox than Internet Explorer. Why? It's because Firefox has stolen my heart first with it's 'tab'. And now when IE get older, he try to do the same thing.

I agree! Firefox started the tabbed browsing. IE isn't as innovative as it used to be huh?

I loved the tab browsing myself. I think IE is just a junk malware collector myself. It makes me so frustrated because I can't choose to turn off scripts and just allow content as I need to view it. That is why I like Firefox. NoScript is an awesome add-on too!

I just started usuing mozilla firefox about 4 months ago. I think it is faster than most browsers. I also use AOL, but that's only because I have been using it for 10 years, and it's so familiar.

Be sure to get to know your browser by visiting Mozilla. Learn about customizing it and finding out what plug ins and add ons there are for the best customizing you can get for it!

My favorite web browser is the Internet Explorer. I like this because I could grab some video over a video streaming websites. Firefox wont allow me to do this feature.

It lets me do it. Firefox needs to be customized for what you want it to do and also look into getting add ons and plug ins for all your needs. They are available!

Firefox rocks and as a web designer it is a pleasure to design for, it is too bad that 90% of the world is too lazy to install it and are satisfied with the crap microsoft stuck on their machine to start with.

I agree. Firefox is safer to use and it gives you more control over what you want to see. If people took the time to customize it for what they use a browser for and to get the add-ons and the plug-ins for what they need to use, they will find the internet a much happier, safer and faster experience!
