Follow Your Heart

... When I was young my heart was young then too, anything that it would tell me is the thing that I would do... These are words to words to a song made famous by Canadian singer Ann Murray the question I pose is, do you follow your heart for most of the decisions you make, or do you follow your head? Did you do one when you were younger and change since you have gotten older? now most of us can say we do a little of each, but really think on this one, which one heart or heart, feelings or logic do you do the most and why? Has this option worked out for you?

I would have to say that mine is about equal in my decisions. when I was younger, I would follow my heart even though my head said not to. Now that I have grown older, I do follow my heart but my head makes sure I do the right thing at all times.

This is tough. I think I always tend to follow my heart but at times my head does step in when it is something really important. By the way, I love Ann Murray, such a beautiful singing voice.

I guess I can't really decide what I do.. I am very sensitive to others needs and feelings but I tend to weigh things prior to deciding what to do. xoxoxoxoxo

I have always followed my heart even when my brain was telling me otherwise. Now that I am older and wiser I know I should follow my head but it seems my heart always leads the way.

I have always followed my heart, the only time I follow my head is with my children as I dont always think my heart reaction will be the best especially with disciplining them as my heart breaks to tell them off but my head tells me to be strong and to help them grow up with manners.

I know exactly what you mean especially when it comes to children, it is heart not to give in to them.
