who would you save if you had to save someone or yourself?

If the situation should ever arise in which the life of your child your mother and yourself was in jeopardy. Who would you choose to save if you could only save in this manner...
One: Let them both die to save yourself?
Two: Let your mother die and save your child and yourself?
Three: Save your mother and child, at the expense of your own demise?
Which would you pick, I'd like to think I'd save my child and mother, but I don't know how I would handle it.

Its easy to say that we'd do this or that, but in all reality, when a situation arises like that, in all likelyhood, we probably would panic and not really know what to do, and we'd probably try to save our child and ourselves first.
Most people think that our mothers have already lived their lives and that a child still has a long life to live, so we'd probably choose to save the child first above all else.
I don't know, its confusing

thats true we all wanna be that good Samaritan but when it comes down to it we have to fight off the instict for self preservation. Thank you for your response.

I would have to save my mother and child. I feel their life is more important than mine. I am not scared to leave this world as I am ready when it is my time. I do know that my child and my mother are not ready to go yet. I would want to risk my life to save theirs so they could enjoy more of it.

well I am so sick that my child would have to save me. But in that scenario myself and my child I think. My mom is older now her life is almost at an end and I think she would understand my choice.
But you never know until you are in that situation would you would really do.

LOL I'd save mysefl and my child without a doubt! Don't even have to think twice about it! AND if it was both my kids, myself and my mother I'd of course save my two kids....

crazy question man
well i would save my kid and mother (maybe lol)
but i would not ever want to be put in that position and i pary no one ever has to because that is really a crazy choice to have to make .
