I should probably pick up some more glassware for my wife. It would make a nice fine little gift for some occasion or another. There used to be a story at the mall near here called Miskas or something which sold pricey glassware. I think the stuff looked nice, but probably too expensive for our tastes. Still, replacing some of the plastic tumblers with glass might be something to look into.

I have glasses, cups, mugs and plastic cups. We mainly use the cups, mugs and plastic the most though. It is alot easier to wash and run through the dishwasher without having to worry about them breaking easily. They are also cheaper to replace too.

I had glasses and they broke one by one. Then we had mostly plastic- but when I bought new dinnerware the glasses were also on sale bogo free so I got some. My plan is to get rid of most of our plastic except maybe the Tupperware tumblers, they're nice heavy plastic, and maybe some oversized ones we have. But, my goal is to rid our home of those tumblers you sometimes get at fast food joints or gas stations, or other non-matching miscellaneous cups.

We have a lot of glassware. We keep a handful of plastic cup around for my son. He likes to get up before everyone else and he is a bit clumsy. So it is best for him to use plastic to pour his own drinks into.

Actually, I used to have a beautiful light cobalt blue glassware set that had 6 drinking glasses and 6 juice glasses to it. I now have 2 juice glasses thanks to foster kids. They managed to break every single one but the two that are left. Now that it is just Hubby and I again I will probably start replacing stuff. We've been out of foster care for a couple of years but have been moving alot so now that we are settled I can start having nice things again.
