Never marked as best response?

Hello atifshahzad1!:-) I am sorry that you are not marked for best respnse as yet, even when you are here for around 2 years. I see that you not that active either. But, don't feel disheartened over it. Not all people mark best response based on quality of responses. Some give it only to their friends, some give it one among those who responded in first day or within first 10 responses. Few give it to even first responders. So, if you haven't got a best response, it doesn't necessarily mean your responses aren't good. I hope that you already know it but still it may help some others. Try to be as relevant as possible to discussion and offer the best possible solution if there is a problem. Try to be balanced in your responses, and consider different options, if it is about opinions. Speak your heart in a way to communicate with best of your abilities. I hope you get many best responses on your way. But, if you don't, do not feel dishearten at all, cherish the friendship which is no less than a blessing and more important than being marked as best response!:-)

I know the feeling of being here in myLot and posting wuality responses yet not getting a best response for quite sometime. It took me more than a month when I recieved my best response and I was so thrilled and really boosted my self confidence that I am helping out people here in myLot. I guess some people forget to look back and rate the best response and now its coming to my second month and I still have not gotten a best response lately also. It will in time. Well i believe as long as you use your heart to answer the discussion , one day you will be crown the best respond yea , so do work hard , i do have a few best respond yea .

best response usually go to someone who is popular and is very interesting to the person who rates them...they are verbose and not brief in stature..a brief one or two lines will not get you a best response as people judge by careful and thoughtful answers and they like to see good grammar and spelling but that is just my thoughts but I got several best responses so you can take this for what it is worth...

I guess you have to be the first to response to others posts and if they like your response they might just hit that plus sign for your response.I did that monday when someone responsed to my post about reaching 100 posts,they were the first to response and I like what they had to say.Just keep on trying to be the first responser and you just might get that best response.P.S...So far,I only have two best responses.

Well, it depends on what people are looking for. I don't always get chosen as the Best Response every time either. I am sure there are people who get chosen more often than I do. But what I look for when I choose someone in one of my discussions for Best Response, is quality. If there answer is what catches my eye, and appears to tend to my discussion I have started then it stands a better chance. And that person does not need to be on my friends list either. A quality response is usually a response 3-4 lines long at least that best pertains to the Subject the discussion is about and also talks to the person starting the discussion letting them know how you really feel. This in turn helps you also Earn more here as well. Hope this is of some help for you, and Wishing you the best.

same here. I try to respond to a lot of discussions, but I will not rush through and give a crappy response, I will try to make it a good response. Sadly, I have never received a "best response".

Please do not feel dishearted or disappointed. More you write here on mylot, more experience you would again about posting quality responses. You also need to interact with experienced and senior friends here on mylot and just see how they write, when they are awarded best responses. Take some clue from their responses, hope you will succeed. Best of Luck!

Till date I have twice got marked for best response. But for one of them I was the only one who replied. So I was not too happy about it.

Till now I have been here for three months and I have 28 best responses. I usually answer for the question's sake and not for the earning's sake. I always study the query and try to answer as much as I can, to satisfy the querer. I only answer the discussions which I like to answer, otherwise I just leave them.. There is no point in answering the queries in one or two lines, not only mylot I also don't like that. All the best, dear Just follow my methods and see you'll also get your responses marked best.

dont feel too bad you know I have never gotten one but just learned that I could do it and began using that feature but before I just looked right over it and maybe thats what others are doing that are newer as for the older users I just do not know.
